Excellent small gaming laptop
Exceptional small gaming laptop. My previous gaming laptop now 5 years old, and I have been looking for a few months for one that would be able to play the type of games I like. I didnt want to spend more than 1500 pounds and I wanted a smaller laptop as I travel a lot and dont want to be loaded down with bulky hardware. Been using it for a month now and it has performed great. Ghost Recon, The Division, Dirt , Sniper Elite 4, For Honor have all been smooth, with good visuals. As mentioned in other reviews it does run hot, and the cooling fans make a little bit of noise, but I wouldnt consider them excessive. Only negative point for me is that there are only two USB 3 ports, but this is not entirely surprising in such a small laptop. I purchased a Anker 4port USB HUB, for those days when I need more ports. A good buy for me, and hopefully this will last me for a few years. Oh.. one more thing. Uninstall all the junk software that has been preloaded onto this. It will only take you twenty minutes.

Great performance in a thin laptop.
I recently purchased this laptop. I play video games quite a lot but I also travel quite a bit. Gaming laptops tend to be bigger, but this one is light and thin and appears strongly built, which is great when you transport it.In terms of performances, I have tried some of my favorite games of the moment (Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm and others). The performances in Ultra 1080p are fantastic. I am always above 100fps on Overwatch and the 120Hz screen is a nice plus, it's all very smooth. I don't necessarily play the most demanding games, so I am not sure how it would perform on such games (Witcher 3 etc), but for the type of games I play it is the perfect solution.Overall I'm very satisfied with it so far, the performances are good, the build is great, the keyboard is also great (steelseries). The only cons I can think of are the speakers (not horrible but really not great, although I was more or less expecting that on a laptop and I play with a headset anyway) and there's a bit of bloatware, but that's easily fixed. I had one issue with the AC adapter (it stopped working in fact, but that is being fixed), although I wouldn't really count that as a negative as those things happen sometimes.

It seems like many one-star reviews here are not justified at all
I feel myself obliged to write a couple of words about this laptop. It seems like many one-star reviews here are not justified at all.Very briefly: that's probably the best gaming notebook I have used or seen recently. First of all, it's powerful and fast in ANY aspect: data processing, gaming, downloading, file transfer etc. Recent games run on ultra settings without any lags. Build quality is fantastic. Monitor and keyboard do not flex. Keyboard is very comfortable, near to silent with decent travel of keys. These things are rear nowadays. I don't like coloured backlight of keyboards, but there's an option to setup the colour to be neutral white. Monitor is beautiful with great colour reproduction, with absolutely no light leakage on sides and extremely good viewing angles. Sound quality of the notebook is top if not the best in the class. It's a real pleasure to work and play using this machine. So far there there are several very minor complaints from me which still can't spoil my excitement:1) I don't like when power cable is attached at the right side because that's the standard place for mouse; left-handed users will be negatively surprised by a warm exhaust on the left side of the machine.2) power adaptor is big and heavy (that's to be expected from such a powerful machine, but in that case such a parameter like notebook's weight is not relevant and it should be adjusted to the weight of the notebook and the power adaptor together);3) trackpad is still no match to Apple's notebooks. Neither its texture and smoothness nor precision are on the same level as Macs;4) i don't like the placement of a power button on the right side near to the front edge as I once switched the notebook off accidentally while trying to move it.5) fan noise is audible and sometimes excessive, although fans' speed can be adjusted with preinstalled soft6) I'm sick of 'gaming' design of notebooks and consider it silly, but many people would not agree with meBottom line: a fantastic notebook of high performance with a lot of outstanding features and some negligible ergonomic flaws.

It’s not worth £1000
Fine look laptop but doesn’t work probably and keep going error after running a few software like Chrome, don’t even talk about gaming.
