Super quiet
I have 2 of these very well-made coolers both fitted to AM4 platform and can say they keep both my 5700g and 3400g nice and cool even when the CPU is working flat out. I did a test on my new build with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700g running Prime95 and the CPU didn't go much above 62 DegC after running for over 1 hr.The first one of these coolers was purchased in March 2018 and the PC runs most of the time and is still working well. I did recently take it off and cleaned all the dust out from the fins and fan blades with alcohol cleaner and a nylon brush.

Premium quality at a good price.
What can I say, I got this to replace my aging liquid cooler. Firstly the product has a feel of quality from the packaging to the cooler itself. I have this cooling a Ryzen 7 1700X, I have a mild OC on the CPU and temperatures never rise above 43C whilst under load ( Gaming ) The fan is also very quiet up to about 1800rpm even at 2000rpm it's still very quiet. The thermal paste, which is included also seems to be of a high quality. Overall this is an excellent product, I doubt I will go back to liquid cooling and stick to Noctua products from now on.

Another great cooler from Noctua
I have used a number of Noctua coolers over the years and have never been disappointed. This is no exception. It is presently keeping an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 cool, seemingly without problem. The unit was easy to fit, even in the limited space of a ITX case, and it works without being intrusively noisy. What more do you want?

Not bad at all!
Easy to install and works like it should. Keeps my CPU cool and isn't too big for my small tower. Also it's very quiet, even when spinning full speed, which I've only tested manually to hear what it sounded like. In reality my CPU hasn't got hot enough yet to make this spin full speed!

Cool, quiet, small... brilliant.
If you're building a low profile AM4 system, this is definitely one of the best coolers you can get.Fitting is fairly easy, requiring that you remove the OEM AM4 mount and attaching the Noctua SecureFirm2 mounts in the orientation you want. You do need a good bit of pressure to then secure the cooler itself to the SF2 mount, but as long as you take your time and watch what you're doing, you'll be fine.Noise from this, with the supplied fan is virtually nil in the system I'm running, but you are able to put a drop down cable inline to reduce the speeds of the fan, although this will reduce cooling.Although it's been a while since I had a Noctua cooler, I'm glad I bought this one and remembered straight away just how good they are.

'Does what it says on the tin'
Got this to replace my stock fan for my Ryzen 3600 and this CPU cooler has worked like a charm, kept my cpu at recent temperatures and as always, noctua is always of good quality which I can understand, highly recommended if your PC case can't fit a large CPU cooler but require a decent cpu cooler, only issue I have got is the cooler scheme of the fan but again, that's noctua's signature colour scheme so can't complain much

Great performance, and low noise
Using this with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and keeps the temperature at about 75 under a full load, so no thermal throttling. I could even overclock a little if I wanted to, but would need the tower cooler if I wanted to do any serious OC.I did not buy this to OC, just wanted a quiet CPU cooler, that will keep my CPU from throttling, and that is what I have got.Excellent product

Disappointing performance
I ran this on a 2700x with its cTDP set to 65w, so basically a 2700. It was noisy, cooling performance was weak despite many people testing these with more power hungry CPUs. Ran 10C hotter than the Scythe Big Shuriken 3 I replaced it with, and the Sythe is running the CPU at the full 105W!A shame as I've never had issues with Noctua fans before
