Very disappointed, does not pair with my existing Hozelock system. I have now had to buy Hozelock pipe and fittings,so it has turned out very expensive overall.

Spent a morning connecting the irrigation system up. Turned on the water on and then 2 hours trying to fix leaks at the connectors in the end gave up as as fast as I reduced the leak another connector started to leak.

I was a little intimidated by this very elaborate irrigation kit at first, as it includes a great many parts and next to no instructions. I still haven't got all my plants going yet this autumn, but as I'm planning to be away in September so I wanted to get it set up as soon as possible to iron out any issues.Once I'd spent ten minutes tinkering with all the different attachments and small test cuttings from the hoses, it was actually really easy to start setting it up. I'd say leave at least an hour for most setup scenarios, to familiarise yourself with all the parts, as the b/w printed instructions are quite unclear - I should have looked at the ones on this Amazon listing!Each and every part seems to be very well thought out and of high quality. It all fits together pretty well - nothing seems shoehorned in there or poorly made. My only doubt was about the end caps (to stop the water running away at the end of the hose after all the irrigation outlets), which seemed too large to get the hose on. However, I eventually managed to squeeze the hose on the cap and I was glad it was so tight, because the pressure would have pushed off anything looser. Good design there.It took quite a bit of experimentation with the various misting and squirting outlets to work out exactly how I would want to use them. I couldn't work out how to get a fine mist and didn't realise until coming back and looking at the photos on the listing that the small misting nozzles could be mounted upon the spike watering nozzles, and turned - this is actually ingenious and very adjustable for every need. Some of the settings using the nozzles on their own won't be suitable for smaller baskets or beds because unless the original tap is only turned on a fraction, the water can jet out in an enormous arc, which soaked me a few times during my tests and totally missed my plants! But when you've been dampened a couple of time and finally got the settings sorted out, you'll be good to go.I haven't yet arranged all my nozzles and spikes in their final position because I'm waiting to see which plants grow well and deciding where to place them before my trip. I'm using this system in combo with the timer that Pathonor also sell, so I'll set that up when this system is more final. I'll be regularly updating this review with photos and information on what works particularly well. But I can confirm without a doubt that the set is well designed, and with well manufactured, strong individual components, seems to be built to last.

Fast delivery, and brilliant item!!! Great better than I thought. It is easy to install. There is a long enough PE tube, T-connectors, mist nozzles, cable ties, end connector and a tap connector. The PE tube can be cut to measure and than connect to the next section with the T-connector. The mist nozzles connect to the T connectors and the whole "assembly" is really easy. Now my wife wont have to carry watering cans to water plants anymore.
