Exceptional paper!!
When it comes to wet-on wet, this paper has it all.... wonderful absorbancy, hardly warps, and stays moist for 5-7 mins compared with 1-2 mins for the "value for money" papers - giving you a lot more time to work your artistic magic. If you're a beginner who's keen on landscapes and cloudscapes then this premium paper is your only hope of producing what you're looking for......use the cheaper ("100% cotton") papers by all means but for practice, still life, animals etc but don't waste your time doing wet-on-wet using "value for money papers" unless you're happy with hours of rework and inconsistent results. Cheaper papers force you to adapt your style to how they work!! I value my time too much for all that nonsense (and frustration) , so I stretch my budget to using this paper - worth every penny as it makes for a lot less stress, gives much better and more consistent results, and a far more enjoyable painting experience all round ..... Highly recommended 👍👍👍

One of the best watercolour papers
All arrived ok, I find this is one of the best watercolour paper I have used, it holds water and the paint moves and lays beautifully.

Great paper
The paper is really great, and it holds a lot of water. However, when you sketch on it with an HB pencil, the lines smudge way easier than on other watercolour paper I've tried. It also feels rough to the touch. All in all, it's a great product, but if you use pencil a lot before painting, you should be aware of how easily it smudges.

That’s me addicted!
I have fallen in love with this paper. I got the 9 x 12 inch and am finding I can split that into two for my uses. I know these things are personal, we all have our likes, but I love this paper. I did buy the A5 last year but it didn’t grab me for some reason. Maybe I am improving. I am a starting-out water colourist so no expert by any means, but this paper is helping me to make much better work. Combined with my W&N Professional watercolours, it is a dream.

Doesn’t need taping down and very little warping when wet.

OK - ich habe sie alle gehabt: Hahnemühle, Strathmore, Canson, name it I had it!
