Child Safety Harness Fall Protection Handheld Kid Keeper Safety Walking Toddler Leash

I had for less than a month and one of the harness straps broke when my son was falling and he fell on a hard floor in the supermarket. I did originally like the item but after this event and am concerned about the safety of the product. The stitching by one of the clips all came undone. My son is 21 months old.

SUPERB arrived next day, well made, excellent quality, well padded, triple fastening system (Velcro, two chuckles) bought for my 10m old who is walking but a little unsteady and doesn't know how to sit from standing so often falls. She has confidence with this on and walks better than hand holding. A REAL BACK SAVER TOO! Been using daily for almost two weeks up to now.

Very well made and helps if you suffer from back pain. You have to really watch your child still in case they fall and swing into something but that's the same with any harness. Quick delivery and reasonably priced. I ha e used this as a walking aid and not as a restraint for wandering kids and it has helped a lot for babies walking development.

The product itself is great but I don't think it's intended for 10 month olds as the harness is massive on him! It doesn't sit right on him at all and I don't feel confident to walk around the house with it nearly coming off over his head. If my son were a bit older/bigger I think the harness would be perfect!

Excellent piece of kit for a young toddler. I had searched for a numerous harnesses to support his chest and balance and looking for padded straps This is ideal as it helps him balance properly and you have piece of mind of his safety on the road or park. I also like the idea of the padding on his chest as I was worried that most harnesses have a thin strap which might dog into him.

Got these for my 2 year 4 month old as she's not walking unaided yet. Her physiotherapist advised trying a harness so she gets used to walking without someone holding her hand. Really glad I picked this over the clippsave one. It's easy to use it with the straps attached to the shoulders so it looks like my daughter is a puppet almost :-). For supporting her walking - attaching the straps to the back of it did n't work so well for us as she fell forward more.The product is nice and padded so there are no uncomfortable straps digging into her.The part you hold is nice and thick and padded. We are almost 6ft tall and its long enough (but my daughter is tall too so that helps).Easy to put on and take off too. Only negative is that it just barely fits around my daughter when she has a coat on - there's not much left to spare and you probably could not use it under the coat.

NO STARS.This item is not safe. It broke on first use - stitching came undone - and child in it fell to the floor and was injured. Hideous product.
