Bit on the bulky side, but great value.
I bought this to power a laptop when working away from home which it did flawlessly. I did try a travel kettle with a mains plug on it, but it was too power-hungry for this to manage. The USB sockets could be better positioned as on of them sits close enough to the 3 pin socket that a bulky plug (like on my laptop) could partially cover one of them. Thankfully, I only needed one USB, so it wasn’t an issue for me.The cooling fan is very quiet and can really only be heard if there is no other sound at all. The LED is a comforting sight telling you, at a glance, that everything is working .Check what the power ratings are on anything you want to plug into this. It can't deal with high drain items, but for the price I wouldn't expect it.It is quite bulky and if your lighter socket is recessed, it probably won't fit, another slight design flaw. It won't fit in a Kia Niro, but did fit in my truck which had a flush fitting socket. Oh, and it is 12v only. It will not work in a 24v outlet - the instructions state this, but I also tried it in the name of science.Brilliant bit of kit as long as you have wide access to the socket and you don't want too much power. But what you get for the price is good value.

Modern smart phones have rapid / fast chargers
This a well made product. It says it can handle unto 120 Watts of power equipment. I did not tried to go further. Not sure what it really can handle.I bought it because:1. needed to power up my laptop. A standard laptop is around 50 W to 80 W. It worked a treat when we went on long haul Holiday drive about 1000 km. Wife and children could use the laptop.2. Rapid / Fast charge my phone. Modern smart phones have rapid / fast chargers. My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910F (also G920F Galaxy S6, G925F Galaxy S6 Edge, G928 Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, G930 Galaxy S7 and G935 Galaxy S7 Edge etc.) have Samsung Charger EP-TA20UWE UK plus or EU EP-TA20EWE with a thunderbolt symbol which charges my Note 4 in 30 min to 80%.If I plug an extension or a splitter to 2 or 3 then I can plug 3 or more normal or fast chargers to charge phones.BAD or negative downside is it has a tiny fan which is a little bit noisy (not much thought). I sorted the little problem by plugging this device in my boot area (please avoid covering up the fan otherwise it will catch fire, maybe) and plugged an extension wire to middle of my car.I drive 4x4 so it is easy. Not sure about Sedan cars, but I am sure you can do it by pulling back seat forward. That's about it.

Good basic inverter
This is a fairly good basic inverter which gets the job done. I've been using this with a Tracer LiFePO4 16Ah battery with no issues though in my case I have to wedge in a thin peace of velcro to stop the inverter from flopping out of the cig socket. The positives first all my plugs have a nice tight firm fit may be a bit too firm but no issues on the hole. Both USB ports work as expected but be aware because this has no on/off switch for the mains side it draws around 4.7W under no load so if keeping the wattage down is essential you may be better getting a multi USB wall/car adapter. I've had no issues with powering my Surface Go and Surface Pro 3 both work perfectly with no random mouse movements so the output is fine though when using it with my SB E5 headphone amp via 3.5mm line-inn this inverter does spew out a fair bit of hash as well as the usual 50/60Hz hum which is fairly quiet it seems to push out a fair few faint popps and click sounds as well as an extremely annoying high pitched whistle which sounds very similar to a jet taking off at high speed. I've also seen this noise present itself on a 30 year old HIFI system when using the AM braudcast band. For 99% of people these issues won't affect them in the slightest but be aware if using this with radio gear.Just for fun I hooked this up to my switchmode 9A 13.8V bench supply connected to my CRT6900N just for a laugh and it worked using the Tracer battery no problems what so ever though it was pulling just over 100W constant with the 6900N set to FM pushing around 20W. I made sure the inverter was kept in a clear open area it did warm up fairlyh quickly but nothing of concern but be aware if using higher loads this will push out a lot of heat very quickly due to its tiny size. On RX it spews out a lot of hash so best to use this with tablets/laptops etc.One major problem is the units design if it was a couple of MM wider you could easily use both USB ports as well as the AC at the same time with standard British plugs its a struggle to use both ports at once thankfully I have an ultra thin nonstandard UK 3 pin to international adapter which is extremely thin so when plugging in the travel adapter then a UK plugs there is enough clearance to use both USB ports with no issues.OK so in summery pros its tiny, works as advertised and will get you power for laptops and tablets etc and it can happily sustain loads over 100W but keep the unit extremely well ventilated. I've never had it cut out on me once as of yet and I don't find the fan noise particularly loud or annoying though it is very high pitched as the fan is probably a 10 X 30MM size.If you need a quick cheap inverter to get you out of a hole then get this you can't go wrong but for my usage I'm using this now and then but ultimateley got a Sterling Power I12150 which is RF quiet with my CRT 6900N and does a fairly good job on broadcast AM and uses no cooling fan.

Will power a Nintendo switch in the car
I was looking for an inverter for the car to run a Nintendo switch connected to an in-car monitor, as 12V can only supply 100W this was the right size of wattage as the Switch requires about 60W. this worked flawlessly on a drive from Leeds to Mid-France and kept the Switch with plenty of juice for the kids to play games. please not it is a little noisy but this is due to compact size Vs power created and it does stick out of the 12V socket quite far so need to make sure you have clearance as this cannot be covered or will overheat... and yes this gets a bit hot!

Good quality but powerless
I bought this adapter for my laptop. (150W 7.5A). Although its rated 150W continues (max 180W) my laptop not charging unless when shut off. Adapter shut down if I'm trying to plug it while my laptop in running. The other issue is with the plug itself. It doesn't fit very well to my cigarette lighters. For any other occasion its fine.
