It's like a very firm foam mattress. Give it about two days to fully form after taking it out if the air compressed packaging. The material is a soft microfiber vibe and decent against cat claws. I added a topper to the back (the black thing) it to make it lean friendly as mine is against the wall. The arms are study and stable enough to add little clip on side tables.I'm 62" and can lay across this, however there isn't a lot of depth, if I lay on my side and curl up, my knees poke off. I'm 120lbs and there's not much give when I sit. This is something that will hold up for a long time but probably not for/years/ if you sit in the same spot over time.Cats super approve of this and I'm constantly moving the three ottomans into sunbeams so they can catch a nap.Recommend this for minimalists as it's very easy to move on my own and does not weigh a lot. It multi-functions as a mattress as well. While I wouldn't sleep on it every night, it's good for a guest for a weekend.

really like this floor couch....my dog who has hip displasia can get up on it and lay with me .....along with my 2 cats.....A+

I absolutely love this! I'm currently using it as a sofa bed and it's ridiculously comfortable! It's also sooo pretty. Soft to the touch and velvet. Absolutely couldn't say enough about this! And to me it's priced beyond fair!

I get this one for my kids when they play in the basement. It’s pretty small but very soft and comfortable, kids love it.

So soft and comfortable my son loves it it comes vacuum packed and the second you cut it open it expands to its full size
