Q: Hi, i'm currently making a mug/smoking pipe combo out of polymer clay. would this be safe to use on it? i need a varnish that can be drunk out of.

Hello Jessie , have reread instructions and they advise to protect against heat and frost , so possibly this will not be suitable. My husband is a pipe person and I know would like a pic of your finished item . Good luck Margaret.

i suppose so but i dont know if it would take heat,and it would need several coats depending on the texture of the cork.

I am not sure if it is toxic or not but it is definitely transparent! On the tag it sais that it contains chloromethylisothiazolone.

Q: Does this work on baked polymer clay. So varnish after and let it air dry?

Yea my suggestion after you bake the polymer clay you can varnish I like to put double layer of varnish to be extra shiny. Enjoy
