Really impressed with this. I took a bit of a gamble with this as I'm usually wary of cheaper technology, but I'm really glad I did. This works perfectly! I've set it to keep the screen off unless baby cries, and it's been completely reliable (she cries a lot!). It's great to be able to have a little look and see if she's really waking up, or just having a grumble.The range is excellent and although we don't have the largest house, I have taken it into the garden with me with no problems. The battery life is good and although it doesn't last forever, I wouldn't expect it to. It will happily do overnight with low usage. I have it on battery through the evening then plug it in when I go to bed.Very easy to set up. Definitely nothing complicated to it. The screen is a good size and can easily view a whole cot. It will be great for when baby's moving around a bit more.My only gripe is the light on it. It's far too bright and irritating at night. I've stolen someone else's idea and popped a bit of blu-tac over it which has done the job nicely.Overall, I really would recommend this and am glad I bought it. It isn't an essential for a baby - I could manage with a simple audio monitor - but I love that I can look at baby. Partly to see what she's doing, and partly to get that 'aww' feeling to see her sleeping soundly.UPDATE:I've now had this almost 3 years (I bought December 2016) and it still works fab! The battery no longer holds charge through the whole night but it lasts fine in the evening and we plug it in overnight (yes, she still wakes in the night!). We probably don't really need this anymore - she's old enough to should us - but it still works great. Definitely recommended!

Great quality, does the job well.Plays a little song when you turn on the video monitor which is a little daft if your baby is asleep

We had an old Motorola video monitor before this which did a great job over ~18 months. Unfortunately the sound stopped working on it so needed a new one.Based on the five star reviews on Amazon, we decided to get this.Initial impressions were that it was a neat, reasonably well made bit of kit. Upon first use we noticed that the night vision video quality was noticeably worse than our old Motorola but just about adequate to do the job.After a couple of nights our opinion has developed somewhat.This product has several, in my opinion, fatal flaws:- the camera omits a very bright blue light. There appears to be no way to turn this off. We want, and our baby is used to, a dark room. Illuminating a room for sleeping is just simply stupid.- the monitor end plays a very long and loud tune when turning it on. Again, there appears to be no way to disable this. Similarly stupid to the bright blue light because if you want to check on things part way through the night it makes NOISE. Utterly stupid.- the screen appears to have no brightness settings. Again, really bad if checking mid way through the night.It is like this was designed by someone who didn’t even think about what makes a good baby monitor.I am utterly perplexed as to why and how this product receives so many good reviews.We have since ordered a newer Motorola. Hopefully this will work similarly well to our old one.

After a long process of checking what is the best one we went and bought this one. The image quality is average, for 69£ you can't ask for much. During the night the image quality looks better than during the day which is not that bad. The range is pretty good with no breaks in between.Sound quality is pretty bad, if you put the volume up there is the static noise all the time which is pretty annoying.The 2 way talk is pretty much obsolete, you might as well walk to the room and cuddle your baby.Battery of the monitor lasts around 3 hours always on... not on vox mode which again is pretty bad because you can barely ear anything, but I assume it will last more because the screen will be off for most of the time.The camera should have some sort of suction cup underneath so we can fix it to the bed or table.And finally the menu is a disaster, not much you can change and if you want to change something the buttons are quite horrible to use.Overall its not bad for the price, if you have £70 to spend.

Poor battery. Have to keep the screen monitor on charge at all times.Interference constantly so not great during night.Great to be able to see baby in other room.

Got 3.2 inch color LCD.On time that was expected. Good packaged, good appearance not a tacky equipment.Works really well, perfect image under in infrared led or during the day. Captures the sound quickly with the vox on and screen automatically turns on. With lullabyes to play and option to use the monitor to speak trough the camera. Good value for money

Really excited to use the product based on the other glowing reviews and all went well until switching on night vision mode. If your baby is a little sensitive to light in the dark this probably isn't 'the one'. There is a big red light underneath the camera lens which switches on and cannot be covered otherwise night vision mode won't work properly. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this in any of the reviews. Everything else seemed great for daytime use but for my baby it's unusable because of the big red evil eye and is being returned for a refund. Will buy another video monitor that's less of a distraction.

The first one came with a power supply that didn't work unless you held it just right for an hour, so I sent it back. The second came with a monitor that won't fall asleep so there is a blaring bright light in the bedroom all night, so I am sending that one back also. Battery life is short. This particular model is no longer produced by the company so there is no information on it through their website. Save your money and avoid this pain in the backside,
