The promise lives up to the hype at last.
My seond attempt at high beam LED lamps. This time the promise seems to live up to the hype. So although it took some adjustment to get the best fit/arrangement, these are amazing in terms of high beam distance vision. Also you get the 'instant-on' nature of the technology, which has the benefit of being more visible to other road users if you have to use them for any safety reasons.Rather than fitting these with the lamp chassis in vertical alignment, I found the best arrangement for me (with Citroen headlamps) was with a horizontal alignment. This gave much better long distance lighting, and really made the road markings and distant objects stand out so much more. If you think about it a tungsten element gives a 360 deg illumination, so each cars reflector may require a different angle to get the best effect.

Compatibility issues
The first page of the instructions says these bulbs don't work with Mercedes, BMW or Audi - If they put that information in the product details then I wouldn't have wasted my time ordering them !Other LED headlight bulbs have a bayonet to mount them into the removable ring, but these are just a push fit so there's nothing to prevent them rotating or potentially coming loose when driving (especially in rough conditions)Most vehicles will need an additional canbus decoder with these bulbs (not included!)Even with a separate decoder, these bulbs still produce errors on Mercedes systems.To allow for the fan cooling you will probably need to modify your dust/water cap to allow for airflow (the Hella ones would have to be entirely removed)

Nice bright n white!
Fitted to my e60 as foglights. Had to plug the wiring clip in backwards due to polarity, so it didnt clasp which is no problem - this may be different from car to car as polarity on the halogens do not matter so they may have put the clips any which way. They seem very high quality and so far so good.

Really not brilliant!
The led headlight retrofits have been fitted in my Astra J for just about a month, after struggling to fit them in due to the sheer size of them... I found they were very bright originally but the light output seems to be deteriorating rapidly and dimming to a slightly green hue.All in all poor value for money due to the lack of longevity.Amazon please rectify.

Poor build quality.
One of the retention screws was proud of the seal - damaging my headlight assembly upon fitting.Felt like it had been cross threaded and instead of correcting it the screw was left half screwed in place.

Good for the price
Look good when switched on, and they are bright, but beam cut off isn’t great and I get occasional flashes from incoming motorists. They don’t positively click into place in the bulb holder, but haven’t moved after several hundred miles.

Bright and safe
I bought these as a replacement for the same type of bulb. I have them fitted in the foglights and use as DRL's.They are bright enough to be seen even in sunny conditions, as such, because you can be seen I have noticed that a lot fewer car pull out on me, so I see them as a safety feature.

This is NOT Error Free and also Failed MOT
The light is white as expected from an LED bulb but this is where it ends. I have them in my BMW 2014 3 Series and it keeps giving me the light not working error even though it does actually work, Contacted the seller and they said I need a extra adapter for £15 to get rid of the error. Lastly, Had my MOT done last week and only fail was these lights as its not aligned properly and will blink oncoming drivers. Please AVOID.
