Expensive paper but results are perfect. It’s my go to paper Recommended

Very good paper. The luster gives a more pleasing surface than Gloss or Matt in most circumstances. Paper was adequately packaged and received with no damage. I do wish that the Amazon driver wouldring the doorbell and wait for me to answer the door rather than leave the package and run often without even ringing the bell.

I tend to use Canon paper in my Canon 310 printer as the results are consistent and the supplied ICC profiles just work. So, it’s five stars for the paper but, yet gain, Amazon don’t seem to be able to store or deliver paper without either damaging the outer packaging or the paper. I’ve recently received A3 paper without all of the corner packaging marked and the box seal partly open. This delivery looked better but had the usual damaged corners and even with the internal cardboard protection the corner of each sheet in one box has a bit of damage. It’s hard to see on the attached photograph but it is very noticeable. As to the paper itself, it prints beautifully with a lovely texture. Colour reproduction and saturation is superb, and I particularly like it for monochrome work. The weight is good and for everyday printing I think it’s a great choice. I will definitely continue to use these quality Canon papers but will probably have to find a supplier who knows how to handle and protect what are becoming expensive items.

Onto my third pack of this paper which I use for printing A4 photographs at 300dpi with a Canon MG6350 all-in-one printer. The printer is an A4, 6 ink tank model with FINE technology and I load it with genuine Canon ink tanks. Its the first Canon printer I have used and I have to say the results when I use this Luster paper are outstanding. The luster finish is between glossy and semi-gloss and it gives landscape photographs real depth. I print through Photoshop's print menu and I have found that after doing some tests the best results are achieved when I let the printer manage the colours (could be that with the file being from a Canon dSLR and using Canon paper with Canon ink in a Canon printer its easy for the printer to manage the colours). When I compare a print to what I see on the screen there is no difference. The colours, saturation, contrasts and detail are perfect. My screen is calibrated with a Colormunki device. Will continue to purchase this paper as it gives me the results I want. All I have to do is tell the printer that it is loaded with Canon Pro Luster paper, A4 size and it does the rest.

I really love this A3+ paper and has quickly become my favourite to use for my large prints. When used on a good quality printer this paper really does give stunning results, in fact it looks better than many of the prints that I have had professionally printed. The only negative that I have is that because the pack size was only 20 sheets they come supplied in a sleeve rather than a box which makes accessing the paper much easier

Excellent product at good price

Bisher hatte ich immer hochglänzendes Fotopapier für Ausdrucke verwendet, die hochwertig wirken sollten. Etwa für selbst erstellte Grußkarten. Die wirkten dann fast wie mit Folie überzogen, waren aber unheimlich empfindlich. Da ich die Ausdrucke meist noch auf dickeren Karton bzw. Karten aufklebe, ist es meist unvermeidlich zumindest am Rand mit der Oberfläche in Berührung zu kommen. Häufig haben sich dann Fingerabdrücke abgezeichnet. So habe zu dieser Papiervariante gegriffen und bin angenehm überrascht. Die leicht körnige Oberfläche, die einen seidenmatten Glanzeindruck hinterlässt, nimmt dem Motiv nicht von seiner Brillanz. Im Gegenteil scheint es mir, dass die Motive von speziellen Lichtverhältnissen beim Betrachten unabhängiger werden. Eine wirklich gute Wahl, auf die ich sicher noch öfter zurückgreifen werde, zumal das Papier die Tinte sauber und stabil aufnimmt und sehr gute Druckergebnisse damit zu erzielen sind.

Este papel proporciona unos resultados sorprendentemente buenos para el precio que tiene. Yo lo uso en una canon pixma pro 100s configurada correctamente con tintas originales y una pantalla EIZO CS 2420 coloredge perfectamente calibrada y los resultados son bastante mejores que en un laboratorio de centro comercial tipo fotoprix e iguales...incluso mejor que en algunos talleres fotograficos profesionales. Tengo entedido que lo fabrica para canon HAHNEMUHLE,garantia de un papel de nivel medio/alto excelente...repito,con la gestion de color correcta y la configuracion apropiada obtienes unas impresiones en b/n con negros profundos,blancos...realmente blancos,una transicion entre diferentes grises estupenda y desempeño en las sombras escepcional,el brillo justo,no molesta para nada(no me gusta el papel brillo)la textura es como aquellas copias que sacaba hace años en el cuarto oscuro con el papel perla de ildford,el acabado muy similar,muy "elegante". En color es donde destaca deverdad!!! Yo principalmente(el 80%)de lo que hago es b/n pero cada vez mas imprimo en color y devo decir que los resultados son fantasticos...me explico,las tintas DYE(basadas en tintes,no en pigmentos)que son las que usa mi impresora tienen la caracteristica de proporcionar colores mas saturados,vivos y bibrantes,segün para que tipo de fotos esto no siempre es bueno ya que quedan algo menos naturales(sobre todo en la piel)si usas papel brillante de calidad...pues bien,esto mejora y mucho si usas este "pro lustre" o en su defecto el "plus semibrillo"que es practicamente igual.Con cualquiera de los dos consigues la saturacion justa,sin excesos,perfecto para los acabados"apastelados"que suelo usar,la transicion entre colores,la gama tonal y el acabado realmente sorprende. Claramente es el papel que usare de continuo,mas si encima encuentras ofertas como la que encontre hace unos dias en amazon USA,47 dolares un paquete de "50 hojas" A3+...si,has leido bien,inclullendo gastos de envio salia 25€ mas barato que en España que ya tiene un muy buen precio para la calidad que ofrece. Lo dicho,este es mi papel definitivo despues de usar mucho tiempo el smot pearl de ilford(gran papel tambien) pero que no me da el resultado que este pro lustre de canon...aunque por poco,la verdad. La entrega como siempre con amazon:rapida y en perfecto estado. Gracias amazon!!!!!.

Comprati questi fogli più che altro per testare una stampante comprata recentemente (Canon PIXMA G650 MegaTank), che con carta da ufficio mi aveva piuttosto deluso. Beh, confermo che questi fogli sono un mondo a sé. Per ora sono gli unici fogli di carta fotografica che ho testato, ma la qualità è spettacolare. Impostando il giusto profilo colore con la stampante, la qualità è paragonabile a quella di uno studio fotografico, non scherzo. Colori vivi, neri pieni e profondi. Finitura piacevolissima, che non saprei definire con esattezza, ma non è ne opaca, ne lucida, è tipo lucida con una micro rugosità. Lo spessore è quello tipico delle foto. Consiglio molto per delle foto importanti, malgrado il prezzo alto. In foto una stampa su carta comune da ufficio riciclata (sotto) e una sulla Pro Luster (sopra). Anche se non è super evidente, la differenza è siderale.
