MasterClass Oil Spray Bottle, stainless steel, Silver/White, 150 ml

After initially being confused as to why my air fryer and pans were coming out of the dishwasher with some gummy type residue still on them, I tracked the problem down to the "low calorie cooking spray" we had been using. I hadn't given them much of a thought when I'd bought them but after actually reading the ingredient list they were dumped straight in the bin and I vowed to go back to proper oil.Enter this little gadget, admittedly it is a little fiddly initially to get going but you can fill it with whatever oil you like and you end up using far less than if you'd been spooning or free pouring it in. It's also extremely robust and being refillable means that I don't have to keep buying the disposable oil sprayers from the supermarket for an inflated price over buying a normal bottle of oil.For best results it's advised not to fill it more than half to two thirds full to allow a proper spray. Even with it only being half full it lasts ages as you really are using less oil than with conventional methodsI'm actually tempted to get another couple for salad dressings and the like because I'm so impressed with it

I have been trying to buy a weight watchers oil spray but they are really hard to get hold of at the moment and I really do not like the fry light stuff.I bought this hoping that it would do the same job and it does. The only down side to the product is that you can't see up to where you should fill so I guessed.It looks nice and works really well.Slightly more expensive than the weight watchers product.

The product arrived all shiny and brilliant! Standard instructions, all clear and I followed them exactly. Few days, the product works fine. So far so good.Last week (around 45 days after the purchase), I come back from work and go to the kitchen for a glass of water to find the whole kitchen top (wooden) greasy... follow the trail, and the spray seems to have relieved itself - the complete oil has come out for no rhyme and reason. I thought that I must have overfilled it the day before (it should not be filled more than half way).Anyway, cleaned the mess, washed the sprayer and refilled it a little less than halfway last night. Used it in the morning, and I come back from work tonight to find that the whole episode has been repeated. Very disappointed in this product.Maybe this was a lemon and all the other sprays are just fine, but this left a bitter taste in the mouth. First time I have ever been disappointed with an Amazon product.

We have tried other oil speays qithout success but this one is perfect its simple to use, easy to keep clean. Exactly what we were looking for.

This spray does what it should, spraying a fine mist without squirting the oil. However it does come apart - the three parts - top, middle steel and bottom plastic cap are connected usign some very inferior glue and slip apart very easily. It still works well for me but I need to glue them together soon. I suppose this would have been more sensible to pay the 4-5 pounds more for more quality.A follow up to my previous review after using for a few months.Basically, sprays really well, airtight without issues. It does come apart though. If you can live with this, it is fine since the main function works really well. At this point I would prefer to buy the slightly more expensive one, though.

Others may have had problems with this, but I found it worked very well. Following the instructions, I filled it around half way with olive oil, pumped it 5 times, and a spray came out. The flow got a little weak, so another pump, and finished the job. This is going to save money over using canned cooking sprays. You pay a lot for packaging and pressurized air, and very little for the oil inside; but with this, it is reusable and does just as good a job of coating pans as the pricey sprays.I also tried it on potato slices I was going to bake. After spraying the foil I used to protect the pan (less clean-up), I sprayed the top of the potatoes before sprinkling with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then into the oven with the chicken that was baking. When it was done, on the foil, there was little excess oil - a problem when you drizzle the oil. The price of olive oil has been going up, so I appreciate the savings.

It's fine to start with, but before long the sprayer stops working and just get a stream of oil rather than misted spray.

I got the first bottle and the pump didn't pressurise the bottle. I reported and got a replacement very quickly. Sprayer works on the 2nd bottle and have been using it on our airfryer.
