This is in UK Plugs ONLY If you understand the concept of Ultrasonic repellers, the result you desire is only visible between 2-4 weeks of continuous use. Ultrasonic / electromagnetic devices are 88% effective; better than chemical and traditional means that stands at 80% ratio. It is consequential to be patient for the device to work properly and for you to experience desired result. Firstly during installation, ensure that the device speaker is not facing any material that could absorb the sound and render it ineffective. Such material includes any soft or non reflective material like cushion, curtains etc (it is better installed unobstructed). There would be an increase in pest activities during the first few days of use (0-2wks). Some pests may even ignore the silent sound, walk around or near it unperturbed as it can only be heard by them but after several days and weeks of continuous blasting, their nervous system would be disturb and all of a sudden the same comfortable environment would become uncomfortable. At this stage there could be increase in their activities. They are simply moving around from one spot to another looking for a safe haven or trying to figure out what sort of sound is discomforting them. At the same time, it is your duty to eliminate their source of entry, food, pleasure and comfort to keep them at bay. OTHERWISE, THEY WILL NOT LEAVE EVEN THOUGH THE DEVICE IS ON; AND WOULD PREFER TO DIE RATHER THAN LEAVE THEIR FOOD AND PLEASURE BEHIND!!! Thus, eliminating those attractants and patience are not only required but vital. Between 2-4 weeks, you will notice reduction in pest activities and during continuous use, pests ill migrate to a new location. Give it a minimum of 4 weeks and follow the advice above; hopefully you will experience desired result like other customers.
