6 ml ACT2 Cold Sore SPF 30 Lip Balm Tube

This is the best cold sore treatment on the market. I have tried everything Even £30 on a infa red light. This is also a prevention When I go on holiday I am prone to cold sores this blocks the sun rays & no longer get them when on my hols. But if I get them at home I use this cream and by day 2 coldsore has crusted and gone in 4 days. Highly recommend this cream

First off...anyone expecting a miracle treatment for cold sores are going to be sorely disappointed as there is no such thing…maybe one day. In the meantime, the best way to combat the likelihood of cold sore attacks is to manage your diet, health and general wellbeing (i.e minimise the times you feel run down and keep your immune system strong). This product will not totally prevent cold sores but it will help keep breakouts to a minimum (by reducing some of the physical factors that can trigger an attack), will help reduce the severity of an attack and will help your skin heal a little quicker as the balm gives the skin the right environment to repair itself (although be aware that the skin cell healing process is pretty rigid and the time this takes will always vary from person to person).I use this stuff only when I’m feeling a bit run down or when my lips feel a bit sensitive after perhaps a day outdoors and I also take L-Lysine daily (1 x 1000mg tablet). I have no idea whether this combination has any scientific effect but over the last year I have had far fewer cold sores and when I have, they have been much less severe than in the past. Having said that my general health is pretty good at the moment so it might just be down to that.Having tried most over the counter treatments available I can honestly say that this stuff is not hugely better or worse than the acyclovir / docosanol treatments. Personally, however, I find that both of these types of medications tended to dry out my skin so much that this delayed the healing process very slightly. I do not have such problems with Sorefix, which is why I now use this.

Seems to do the job and ealily applied

This product is amazing! It protects the lips but prevents cold sores, you do need to keep re-applying it if you suffer from sun cold sores. I have been using it for the last couple of years and have been cold sore free, I was plague on all previous holidays.

Suffered from cold sores for years & years, until I tried Sorefix. Soon as I felt the tingle on my lip, put Sorefix on all night,& virtually gone the next day!!!.. Second day, no sign. Excellent. Well recommend.
