Great!
I love this little gadget - clicker and target in one! When extended it can be flimsy so I don't extend it all the way. I have a highly trained pug that I trained without a clicker. I started using it this weekend and I have taught him to walk on his hind legs, growl on command (he could bark on command already but the clicker allowed me to capture and reward the growl which I don't think I could have done with out it) I was teaching him the walking trick using the target and the growl trick using the clicker so it was handy it was all as one rather than two separate things to hold. We also do agility with him and his only weakness is the weave so I am going back to basics and target training to use the weave confidently. This would be also great for using on a bird! Great little piece of kit … would recommend!

great functioanlity, room for improvement on design...
thank you Amazon for replacing my stick after the first one disappeared in transit :-)the product itself is great as a combination clicker/stick....love this function......only niggle...the touch ball at the end could done with being twice the size.having used a different brand with a soft ball at the end the touch stick, I can see myself adjusting this one.overall as a functional product - great - but as for design could do with improvement.the clicker end is comfortable to hold in hand :-)

Great clicker
I got this to help train my pacific Parrotlet. He doesn’t like the look of it when extended and flys away so I use a separate small dowel wood stick for target training and the clicker behind my back. I use the clicking sound to associate with a reward for tricks or recall. It is not the most comfortable to hold for me as I have small hands but if you are looking to use for training a large / medium parrot then i would definitely recommend this for target training. With some encouragement and treats I am sure you can get them to be comfortable with the extending rod.

Excellent target stick with clicker
This is an absolute must have if you are trying to train a specific command. My dog was confused for a few mins but as soon as she grasped the concept of the target stick we haven’t looked back. It’s very easy to hold ,or attach to a treat bag or belt with a clip that has a cord that winds in and out when you want to use the the stick. It’s lightweight too which is a must as I have painful hands. I have seen similar items to this one being sold at triple the price. I consider it excellent value for money as it also includes a clicker which not all have.

Clickety Click
Teach your pooch to do fabulous tricks,With this handy Trixie Target Stick. When doggy is good just simply click,He'll get the hang of it really quick.Puppy must learn it's not always play,So gently tell him to sit, roll or stay,Click when he's good, you can even say "Yay!",Then issue the treat without delay.Be sure the reward is nice to eat,So puppy will find it hard to cheat,Like a piece of cheese or a meaty treat,Freshly cooked chicken is hard to beat.Your pooch will be trained in the blink of an eye,It's as easy as clicking just give it a try.If you're after a clicker I won't tell a lie,This Trixie Stick is a super buy.
