Korean From Zero! 2: Continue Mastering the Korean Language with Integrated Workbook and Online Course: Volume 2

I bought this for my daughter for a Christmas present. (Heres hoping she doesn't see my review!) 2nd book in the set to teach yourself Korean. She already has the 1st and it fab. Purchased this ready for when she has completed the first. The layout is good and instructions are very clear. Well worth buying to teach yourself Korean.

Perfect..allows me to study at my own pace..so easy to remember each lesson ..highly recommend.

It's even better than the 1st volume, with an even better layout and better organized, keeping all the other positive aspects volume 1 had! Really enjoyable!

Excellent book

I have been studying with this textbook for a few months now. I originally started to study Korean after I met the author of this series. He inspired me to start learning Korean, so I purchased his textbook from Amazon. Korean From Zero 1 is the most accessible beginner level Korean language textbook I have ever seen. That being said, Korean From Zero 2 is just as great as Korean From Zero 1. I use a few other Korean language textbooks in my studies, but Korean From Zero 2 is by far the most useful and practical textbook I have. This textbook introduces verbs, vocabulary and grammar concepts in a fun and balanced way. I learn more from this textbook than its counterparts from Seoul National University or other well known publishers. I believe the reason this textbook helps me successfully learn Korean is because it is written with the self-studying student in mind. I never feel pressured to comprehend new content immediately. Additionally, the textbook teaches advanced yet practical grammar earlier than other textbooks do. The authors have confidence that their customers will understand these grammar points. Fortunately, the customers definitely will understand these lessons, because the authors do an outstanding job of explaining the content with relevant example sentences. As I progress through the textbook series George and his co-authors write encouraging messages in each textbook. I am honored to study with this textbook series. Thank you for continuing to inspire me.

Je vais être un peu dur sur la note, mais malheureusement je ne peux guère mettre mieux .. J'ai acheté les 3 tomes il y a de ça 3 ans, et j'ai décidé de reprendre mon apprentissage du Coréen il y a quelques mois. Après avoir étudier sur une autre série de manuels, j'ai décidé de reprendre et consolider les acquis grâce à cette série, et là commence les péripéties .. Alors, je regrette très fortement de trouver au moins 1 faute à la quasi totalité des leçons en incluant le tome 1. En ayant déjà de solides acquis grâce à l'autre série, cette quantité d'erreurs de traduction, d'inattention, de relecture et j'en passe, sont assez frustrantes dans un manuel de Langues et sautent aux yeux. Pour quelqu'un de débutant en matière de Langues Asiatiques, ceci peut lui être très confus .. Malgré tout, la conception et explications du livres sont très biens, je n'ai rien à redire là-dessus. Je peux recommander cette série avec une grosse réserve d'avoir déjà étudié le Coréen avec d'autres ressources, et d'utiliser cette série afin de revoir et consolider ses bases, et ne surtout pas se lancer dedans sans un minimum grammatical et de vocabulaire.
