This converter plug and socket arrived well packaged and within the time frame given. Ppuchased this 16A Plug to 13A Socket to enable us to convert our caravan lead into a long extension for use in the garden. We have not used it yet but see no reason why this shouldn't meet our requirements as it appears to be strong and well made , If you need something like this then I can recommend this suppliers.

This was purchased for my boat after a very kind gentleman decided to help himself to my entire shore charging kit. I spent a lot to replace the set but also purchased this item specifically for the jetwash. I found that the jetwash draws too much electricity from teh boat and causes the fuses to constantly jump. I figured that if I could plug it in at source at the shore power that would resolve the problem. Presto it worked. My purchase was primarily for this purpose but it is also likely to be handy when travelling around marinas especially on the continent where we might need to boil an emergency tea kettle or something and have difficulty accessing shore power on the boat. As for delivery that was surprisingly swift - it arrived at the short end of the estimate and came a in sensible packaging of just a bubble bag. I have bought things on Amazon that arrive in packaging 4 times the size of the item so its good to see a seller sensible with packaging which after all goes straight into the bin after it is received. Now for safety - when I use this and my shore power I padlock the lot to the boat or to the shore power box - ha ha thieves .....

I initially did need this item however, due to circumstances I not longer needed it. However, I can tell you it is very sturdy and durable. Dass die britischen Elektrosäulen auf Campingplätzen noch mal eine besondere Steckdose haben und wieder ein anderer Adapter benötigt wird, ist nervig, vor allem, wenn die Reise per Flug und mit wenig Gepäck geplant werden muss. Rettung gab es durch sehr nette Nachbarn vor Ort und für die nächste Tour fand sich zum Glück dieses Angebot.
