Absolutely brilliant product, well built and a great price
Absolutely brilliant product, well built and a great price. Really sturdy construction, came with all relevant fixings and was a doddle to install into the breeze block of my garage wall. The amazon picture doesn't show that the bar actually has foam grips in 6 locations allowing for a narrow grip pull/chin-up, shoulder width pull-up using the protruding handles, or a wide grip with the angled down bar ends. The foam grips also provide a comfortable hold and eliminate any rubbing or blisters from your grip which is a big plus. The only minor point is that it is maybe a little too close to the wall, the plus of this though is that it does make you focus on good form, not rounding the shoulders, keeping core/glutes tight and maintaining PPT in order to keep your knees scrape free. A great product all round and I am very happy with the purchase.

Does what it says on the box......
Excellent manufacturing, after ordering I was concerned about it's build, but on delivery I was pleasantly surprised by its robust quality. For the price I was very impressed that the contents included the wall bolts, a spanner and a hex key to build it all with (although the spanner doesn't fit all the bolt heads, but it's the thought that counts!!) Instructions are a bit misleading for the bolt holes, says 10mm but you should use a 12mm masonry drill or you'll really struggle. One thing to note is that when it's up the bar is quite close to the wall so you won't want to be swinging or you'll scuff you knees!!All in all a great purchase, and really good value for money.

Very pleased with the build quality of the bar
Very pleased with the build quality of the bar, very solid, nicely padded foam handles, very solid and heavy weight piece of equipment, well made and high spec paint job. A lot of kit for the money.I had trouble fitting it. The bolts supplied are ok but the information to fit them is incorrect. There is no way a 8ml hole will do for these bolts. 10ml was too small and 12 ml a bit large so i mangled two bolts and two holes. However the bar is up and takes my weight, i just wished id made a better job of putting it up. The instructions were misleading on this front. Its definitely worth getting as a piece of kit, just be careful putting it up and take your time and do it right with the right tools and right drill pieces.

Very impressed
I have a habbit of buying cheap and the regreting it. But not in this case. Bigger and sturdier then I expected. Fixed to the wall with the bolts supplied and it has no problem holding my 110kg. I would only drill with a 10mm bit and wiggle it. My first hole was 11mm and it felt loose so I changed to 10mm and the attachment is solid.

Bar great, fixings and instructions terrible
The bar itself is great quality, but the fittings are absolutely rubbish. You tighten and tighten the bolts, then as soon as any weight goes on them... out they come. Now searching for better fixings. Very annoying that I’ve put eight holes in my wall for no reason. Also the instructions are cryptic... I’m no diy expert but I just about know what I’m doing and it requires a few leaps of faith for me to follow the instructions.

Great stuff for the price
It holds with ease 110 kg weight. Bolts that comes in the package are fit for purpose, but 10mm drill was too small and 12mm will make it a bit loose. You need 11mm drill.

Contains corroborated evidence for poor fixings and insufficient distance of bar from wall
I struggle to give this product one star and only doing so because after a tortuous process of securing inside our garage, I cannot be bothered to return the product due to its price point, it is not faulty and it is functional. What I will add is to corroborate that the fixings for this product are shocking, exasperated by the fact that the instruction booklet highlights an incorrect drill diameter - 10mm is specified and 12mm is required. This point is noted in other reviews and I should have taken note prior to purchase. The issue that you are likely to find when drilling into breeze block/brick with a 12mm drill is that unless you have a rotary masonry drill your standard home drill will struggle as mine did! After purchase of specified drill, hole drilling was literally a breeze. However, my main gripe with this product is the distance from the wall. I would guess that this is dipping bar that has had a bar added to it hence, the poor distance from the wall.

Excellent quality and much better than expected
Excellent quality, amazing value and much better than expected and better than the photo suggests. In particular, I was very impressed with the 3 pairs of foam grips (1 pair on the outside for pull ups (not shown in the photo), 1 pair on the inside for chin ups (not shown in the photo), and one pair on the dip bars) which are very good quality and very comfortable on the hands. Also comes with 8 anchor bolts, which will require you to drill eight 10mm holes at least 80mm deep, and then the anchors bolts need to be hammered in to the holes, so a nice thick solid wall and some heavy drilling required.
