Works on Surface Pro 3
I hesitated before buying this product, as one reviewer said it didn't work on a Pro 3; others said it did. The 'answer' seems to be that you have to make sure that all of the old nib is out of the pen. Mine had broken off at the tip, leaving the shaft still inside the barrel of the pen - and difficult to get to. It was only by Googling elsewhere that I thought this could be the problem. Taking a deep breath and a pair of very (very) fine tweezers, I managed to dig out the broken shaft (see pic above). Inserted the new nib and yes, works perfectly. Expensive for three pieces of plastic though.

Really nice product, works well with different writing experiences
Compact packaging ! Really nice to change how the pen feels, the price considering the product and materials, does not really make you happy buying it if you don’t really need it.. happy with my choice though, and the difference between the tips,Not an easy thing to alternate but just get used to one until I break it again.. the pen is heavy.. so if you drop it... depends on the chances of the landing position.. another reason these should be cheaper .. for a magnetic holder of a pen ;)

seems pretty expensive for what it is
Does what you want it too, seems pretty expensive for what it is. Suggest you don't drop your surface pen on it's point on a hard floor, then you won't need to buy this at all! Having done the numpty thing myself however, the replacement tips work perfectly

Pricey but I wanted the official goods
My original surface pen nib broke after around three years of light usage. This should theoretically keep me going for another decade lol. They're a bit on the pricey side and the packaging is very small and easily lost so please take care.Quality of the packaging and parts is fantastic though.

The HB has a nice rubber end that's really nice for line work
Came exactly as specified. Fits my Surface Pro 4 Pen.The B nib has the standard feel to the original nib you get with the pen.The HB has a nice rubber end that's really nice for line work. Gives a bit more of resistance against the screen. The 2H is a lot slipperier. Great for sketching or doing something quickly across the screen, wouldn't use it for accuracy.Having used a Wacom and Wacom pen with different nibs for over 10 years the Surface Pro Pen and it's nibs are lot more delicate. The nib that came with my pen broke within the first 5 months as is why I had to get these. Never had a Wacom nib break on me, only wear down over time.Hopefully these will last me a bit longer. Not overly fond of Microsoft's overpriced, very delicate pen nibs. May end up switching to a Bamboo Ink as I won't be buying these if they break soon.

authentic microsoft pen tips
easy to put in and have 4 thickness to choose from. my original pen tip that came with the pen broke when it hit the floor tip first and I could not find the rest of the pen tips (if there were any) from the original so I bought this product. works well with surface pro 6, as expected from a genuine Microsoft product

OK tips, Ridiculous price
Price is ridiculous for this. The HB tip, the one I want is useful and works well. Each HB tip I have had lasts about 6-8 months, with daily use for taking notes. The only really useful tip is the HB one. The rest are nice to have but I would not use them. Essentially this is £20 for 1 tip which is awful value; considering the last gen tip kit was £10 and 4 tips were provided and that seemed steep. This is completely ridiculous price wise and I would recommend that you look to other pens which work with the Surface line up; such as the Wacom Bamboo Ink.Replacement tips for the Wacom Bamboo Ink are £10 which is still steep but is not as ridiculous as this.Again the price of these three tips is ridiculous, that is £6.66 for each tip if you want all of them. If you want one of them its essentially £20.TLDR; OK tips, Ridiculous price

Necessary for photoshop
I do a lot of graphical work for my architecture studies and being able to work seamlessly on the computer is a real asset. The cost put me off replacing my original nib for over a year.I dropped the pen on the pavement and the nib had bent.It wasn't until I replaced the nib that I realised what a difference it makes! The blister style packaging is not very good as Microsoft used to sell a 4-piece nib set in a proper hard case for the same price.
