OK BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR PLEASURE WONT HIT THE SPOT
I purchased my Foot Massager as im a great fan of *receiving* delightful foot massage i mean i just go in a trace and all my tense feeling just melt its surprising how many people out there with tummy and gut or pelvic pain notice ..( try it ) when you get a good foot massage or strokes on your feet toes and ankles that tend to go !! i firmly believe in the power of touch and i know all the reviewers her know where im coming from that is why we purchased this its likey weve had massage and we are hoping this gizmo will do one for us ..or i was !!! . I am single and in my highly stressed mid 40's its prob the most stressed time of my life !! i dont have a partner to ease those aches and pains or give indeed ,..( blushes ) dare i say pleasure !!!! oh come on im only talking about my feet !!! back to the item . Being honest totally .here are the good points .A) its easy to use . Take it out the box - plug in and your set to go .B) It just has two settings , flick the switch and the "heat" setting or option comes on ..it lights or glows so you know its on .C) Its easy to just flick that heat setting off and swith back to normal massage option - ie your not stuck with heat setting for a session or 20 mins or 25 which is the recommended time you use a session ( and to be honest thats enough time for a person - you wont want to sit all night .D) It was on offer when i bought it - it was much dearer in Argos and has gone up in price since my purchase so the other attraction was the offer .NOT so good points .A) Prob overrated in pleasurable feeling you get ..they are just rolling sot of large ball barings that undulate or you rub your foot on ..a spikey ball i may i think of had more pleasureable feelings of massage from .B) I tried this massage with thin silk socks on ..thicker fluffy socks and then bare feet to comapare experiences ..thin silk socks may be better i had showered feet at all uses of course dont cream or oil your feet and use bare on the material best not to put creams or oils on i found you have to work to get the position of the balls on the right areas and it can seem a little like a electric tredmill or running machine !! your feet go from back to front and come off the balls if you dont use the muscles in your legs and feet to keep them in postion on the foot marked ball barings .C) I did not reall find the heat setting to be very powerful ..its barly there heat ...not really much to make a diff ..youd be better using a bowl of hot or warm water to socak your feet in and then a massage ..D) its hard to totally relax into this ..because of the reason you have to keep your legs or feet into postion ..there were times it did feel of like the sides of my big toes and the pad at the side of the foot and you press down to get that harder massage but it can hurt and be irritating to the point you give up and turn it off as not much use ..All in all ..its ok and its worth having to try out but in NO WAY does this replicate the total bliss or pleasure or after feeling of a real foot massage and it leave you feeling a bit cold and empty !!! and even down ...im glads i got it i will use it and persivere if you have a foot condtion it may benefit you ..i have hard floors or tiles and your legs and feet can ache ..i also think people should try a spikey ball or ball or something you roll your feet over compare that . four stars one could of been three but good bargain ..dont stand up on it and dont use on other parts of your body ..i know it tempting !

Just what i needed
I bought this HoMedics Shiatsu foot massager for my wife who suffers from sore feet pretty much everyday. She has flat feet and often experiences discomfort around her arch and heel area. She's always asking me for foot massages, although I don't mind, I do have days where my time is stretched. Since purchasing this massager, it's pretty much taken over now :)The HoMedics foot massager is simple and easy to use and very effective. It has a one multi function button which you can press using your feet. Pushing the button once turns on the massager, pressing again turns on the heat mode and a third press turns it off. Each treatment lasts up to 15mins. When using the heat function it takes a good few minutes to heat up, as each treatment only lasts 15 mins, it's best to switch it back on again and enjoy.Overall this machine delivers a pleasant and comfortable foot massage. I've not heard my wife complaining about her feet aching as much however I have purchased other products to help her, which she uses daily (Massage Ball, Foot Arch Support). I like the fact that this massager is not too bulky and fits underneath my sofa, making it easy to bring out and tuck away once finished. I have family and friends who visit regularly and enjoy using it, they all want one now. My daughter is becoming obsessed with it and my own personal experience using the massager is that I get a light sensation on my feet after use and feel more relaxed with less tension. Great buy!!!

Very good
Bought this two months ago and overall I am very pleased I did it.In my own opinion nothing beats a foot massage given by my partner, but on those days where she is not in the mood to give one, this is still a great alternative especially for people who put alot of strain on their feet from standing all day, playing football, dancing, running, etc.Positives:+ The three rotating balls do a great job of massaging and you can simply move your foot anywhere on them to focus the massage on a particular point+ The heat function is very nice in the winter but you can turn it off+ Very simple and easy to use+ Quite light and compact in comparison to other foot massage products I have seen+ sturdily built and aesthetically pleasing in my opinion+ Massage can be as delicate or as vigorous as you want, all you have to do is put more weight on your feet while sitting+ Your feet really do feel great afterwards!+ My partner loves it too and she is normally against having too many gadgets around the houseNegative points:- Doesn't pay any attention to the top side of your feet, but not many devices of this type do as far as I am aware- no timer or automatic shut off (I hear that you shouldn't really do more than 15 mins massage in one sitting or else you could be overdoing it)-I wouldn't say its really THAT portable, although its entirely possible if you really wanted to take it somewhere with you, it would fit in a rucksack- The place where you put your feet is not washable so I recommend using the device while using fresh socks for obvious reasons!Thank you homedics for another great product! (I also have the sp-10 shiatsu cushion which is also ace!)
