Re HQST branch connectors: The internal metal connector is a solid metal style on the male connector end; thisis different than the hollow tube style connectors used with the solar extension cables. They did not assemble until I sprayed them with silicone spray, then they inserted ok. I am presently researching this with HQST, because there have been some overheating of connections reported when using connectors sourced from different manufacturers. So far, I have not seen any overheating on my connectors, or wiring. I became aware of an overheating issue when watching a YouTube video from a camper whom had his branch connectors melt.I will update when I receive more information from HQST Solar. I have inquired as to what specific parts they may have had problems with.

What's there to say? These worked great with all panels. HQST, Renogy, Rich Solar, it took all of my panel connections well.

They work great for intended use. Can you run two solar arrays can you parallel with these. Quality seems great. 👍

Used these to join two sets of solar panels together to the main feed cables on my RV. A great option.

Heavy duty construction
Use this product to connect in parallel a couple of 220 watt solar panels. Very heavy duty construction which should easily handle the job. We'll be buying more of these for some more solar work.

For connecting two panels in parallel.
Solid and easy to install. I like that there were tie down holes for securing the cables. I just used a zip tie through the a/c shroud.
