Good all around. Function, fit, and battery life are all nice.
We bought these for our two smaller dogs which are both mixed breeds. One is a Chihuahua mix and the other is a Greyhuahua. This is our second set of controllers. The first one was a different brand and broke easily. These work very well! One of the reasons that I chose this model was for the extra levels of control (100 vs 10). I can control the amount of correction on a much finer level this way. Another criteria for selecting these was the prominent LED lights on each collar. It is easier to see if they are turned on or not. Thirdly, I like the controller better on this set. It is larger and the correction mode is easier to see so you don't accidentally hit them with the wrong correction. This set does sound, vibration, and static shock. For us, the vibration is plenty. After using the collars for a short while, the dogs know that when these go on, they are held to tighter standards. They actually won't even bark now when they wear these! One last reason that I chose these was that the contacts are coated and seem like they would be more comfortable to the dogs, but... I'm not sure they actually care. It made me feel better anyway! At any rate, I would recommend these. The provided collars seem odd because they are plastic, but they actually work very well and can be cut to fit. They don't seem to cause any discomfort for the dogs.Lastly, these come with a handy charger for both collars at once. The transmitter needs way less charging than the collars. It can go weeks without a recharge (unless you use it a bunch). I've found the collars can go a couple days if needed, but it is best to charge daily. When the charge is low, it emits a corrective tone to let you know, which is handy for the owner but freaks out the dogs when it happens. So, I just charge them nightly and I avoid putting the dogs through that.I think you'll be happy with this set.

Received replacements and they work much better!
UPDATE: The seller sent me a whole new set up (two collars and a remote) and this set seems to work perfectly. The screen on the remote does turn off after a few minutes of non-use, but turns right back on by hitting any button. The battery lasts a couple of days between charging as long as you're not constantly hitting buttons. My dogs are pretty well trained on these so I rarely need to give anything but a quick reminder on occasion, so the battery would probably last even longer, but I plug it in anyway every night. The shock and vibrate levels on the new replacement collars are definitely more consistent. Thank you to Hiseasun for sending me the replacements without me even having to ask. I really appreciate that. They really want to make their customers happy!Original Review: The only complaint I have about these collars is the inconsistency with the level of shock delivered. Sometimes a 9 (out of 99) is barely felt, other times a 9 will deliver a powerful shock. (I've tested the collars on myself several times to feel this for myself.) While the dogs are wearing them, I keep them on a 1 and just move it up one level at a time until I get a reaction, but I really don't like that it's a crap shoot on when my dogs will actually feel it and how strong of a shock they will receive. I mostly use the vibrate feature to alert my dogs to pay attention or stop unwanted behavior since it's more reliable and instant.

Does what it is supposed to and lets you know when it needs to be charged
These are awesome!! So much better than the old ones I had - I wish they had died sooner! How long the charge lasts depends on how often you use it for a correction. It lasts about a week without any corrections. It beeps to let you know it needs to be recharged and it recharges very quickly. My only complaint is that sometimes you have to hit the correction button several times before the collar corrects. I always send a tone first, so it doesn't matter much - you just have to listen for the beep to know the collar is receiving.

He's a great dog, very intelligent and sweet
We have a Wheaten Terrier puppy (now about 9 months old) who is ALL terrier. He's a great dog, very intelligent and sweet, but doesn't respond to the word "No" or just about any other method we've tried in an effort to deter him from bad behavior, including chasing our cats. This training system WORKS. We've used the sound feature predominately, and the "buzz" feature only a handful of times when he's especially rambunctious. He doesn't associate the sound or a buzz with us, or the collar, but with whatever we're correcting him for. He's much calmer, and we're all happier. If you've got a misbehaving dog, try this. It really does work. And well worth the cost. Five Stars!

Worked great..
Worked great... until it didn't. Channel 2 is still working, but channel 1 died yesterday - 2 weeks after the returns window closed. It will not turn on or take a charge. Too bad really cause the dogs are to the point that just the beep makes them stop barking.EDIT: The company agreed to send a replacement, but I had already returned the item to Amazon and ordered a new one. Updating my rating since they were willing to make it right. Replacement is working... and I bought the warranty this time.

Beat out others i have tried.
I have been using this collar for about 2 months now. So far it has beat out every other one I have owned (this is my 4th brand/style). The remote is simple and easy to use. You have the ability to have up to 3 collars connected with it. There are different settings for each dog, as well as different intensities for vibrate and shock. I use them personally for training off leash when I'm trying to teach habits outside. The vibrate is amazing, haven't had to really use the shock, the vibrate gets the job done well. The dogs I work with aren't afraid of them either, because of the rubber tips, it fits comfortably on the dog with little to worry about. We thourly enjoy this product.
