serial killer love story
Absolutely fantastic.I loved the hate between Cole and Mara to begin with. Then watching that hate turn into chemistry, the way they both are trying work each other out. There were twists and turns in this book which I did not see coming. This is my first Sophie Lark book and I throughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to learning more about Cole and Mara in book 2.

dark very dark
I had seen this book on tiktok a lot and thought I would give it ago. It is dark very dark, I did find some parts were uncomfortable, but I know it adds to the story. I thought the author did a wonderful job in her writing style and I did thoroughly enjoy the book. I am looking forward to the next book.

So worth the read!!!
This book!…. Holy sh*t it was so good!!! This is legit like a movie or an episode of “You” 😂This was my first Sophie Lark book and it won’t be the last, her writing was brilliant. This story is dark, twisted, intense and just keeps you on the edge of your seat! Cole and Mara are not your typical couple but their chemical is undeniable!Cole what an intriguing complex character I’m just fascinated by him he’s definitely my favourite 😂Mara I kind of expected to be a weak heroine but she is far from it and I absolutely loved that! Now let me just say… Cole and Mara in his studio oh my god that has to be one of the hottest things I’ve ever read!I’ve honestly not read anything like this book and I need more! I don’t want to say too much because I really don’t want to give anything away just go read it and enjoy all this dark romance goodness 😜*It does end on a cliffhanger book 2 will be out in December*The playlist for this book was amazing and worked perfectly!!

couldn’t put this book down! amazing
woah, this book is DARK! please check trigger warnings before reading. i couldn’t work out if i thought cole was hot or creepy.. i’m still undecided - he is trouble though, and rich (he gives me vaughn spencer vibes from angry god by lj shen!). i absolutely adore mara, god she’s just so strong willed, i could not survive what she went through!! they both have issues, like.. deep rooted issues, they’re perfect for each other, as in they balance each other. the tension between them😮💨 he’s controlling, manipulative, intense & she’s defiant, the back and forth with these two is great you just know the spice is gonna be SO SPICY🔥🌶 cole is so obsessed with thinking and making mara say that she’s his, he doesn’t even realise that he is just as much hers too🙊 if anything, he was hers way before she was his🥲 OMG I JUST LOVE THEM! cole is so cold and inhumane with everyone else, but with mara he’s totally different, he’s honest and seems like he can finally relax and actually be himself, who he wants to be. cole takes the meaning of “i’d kill for you” quite literally😮💨🥲 it gives me artistic, murderous, bonnie and clyde kinda vibes! it ends on a cliffhanger but that’s expected as it’s a duet! so excited to start there is no devil!!! jumping straight into the next book book🤩

Just became one of my top 10 all time faves!
Every single minute of my evening has been spent binge reading There Are No Saints by Sophie Lark and I regret not one second of it.The chokehold this book has over me.. Lord.. it's me again 🙏I became completely captivated by the stark contrast in character tones with each POV switch.Cole is so cold, calculated, and psychopathic it's jarring meanwhile Mara is a tornado of emotions just trying to survive from one day to the next. This book is heavy on the trigger warnings, and definitely is not one to dive into blindly if you are someone with triggers, but I found it to be genuinely stunning. It's written so well. The trauma healing, the character growth, the plot structure, all of it gives the triggers woven in true purpose.I ran to the kindle store to grab There Is No Devil, book 2 in the Sinners Duet, because there's no frickin way I can wait until January for Amazon to deliver the paperback copy I ordered 🤣This is 100% in my top 10 reads for 2021.I've read 188 books this year, the majority of which have been incredible, but this one will live rent free in my head.

OH.MY.GOD- Intense review for an intense read!!
If there’s one thing you do today…. Make it READING this book! There are no words to do it justice so I won’t try but I will say this, some books you read and forget about not long after, some you read and they stay with you for a while, then every once in a while you read something that consumes you inside out until you can’t think of anything else, it undoes you and puts you back together differently, well THIS is one of those very rare books that will stay with you FOREVER and change the way you think and see the world. I am in awe and slightly scared of Sophie’s mind her writing is totally original and super immersive- you will get lost in these pages and forget that you’re reading! Not for the faint hearted but if you can stomach it, buckle up for a crazy, mind bending, edge of seat, nail biting, oh so seductive, sexy ride! Bring on book 2 and all the devilish mischief in store!

Push through the start!
The beginning had me feeling like I’d picked up the wrong book and not the one everyone was talking about but once the set up is finished (can’t say anything further without spoilers) it’s such a good read, brilliantly written

The Byronic Hero
Wow. What a fantastic read! I went into this book after seeing a review on tiktok saying how food it was! I though, hey, let's read a quick and easy Spicy 🌶️🌶️ book to get me out of the monotonous reads I am doing for my literature degree. But oh how wrong I was! Sophie Lark somehow manages to make sense of sympathising with a serial killer! Cole is the epitome of the Byronic Hero, the dark, brooding villain, who you should definitely hate, given a mind that's *almost* relatable. It's just so good! The only down side is that I have to wait a whole month for the next in the series!😩😩😩
