As charming as Nadiya herself.
I have added this to my collection of children's books, as I became a huge fan of Nadiya during her time on The Great British Bake Off. Saving this for my grandchildren.

Wonderful birthday present for my five-year-old niece
I bought this as part of a birthday present for my five-year-old niece, she absolutely loves it and made one of the recipes within a week! Nadiya's recipes are very varied - it's not just cakes, there's risotto and bean burgers as well, for example. The recipes range in difficulty, with some needing more adult help than others, but are clearly labelled accordingly. The stories are retellings of fairy tales and other well-known stories, but Nadiya gives them little twists which make them that bit more exciting. Overall, I'm very pleased; especially at the price I bouhght it at (under £5) it was excellent value.

Great all-rounder!
Bought this book for my 10 year old grandson, who enjoys cooking. He loves it! The recipes are easy to follow and the accompanying stories add interest. He is gradually working his way through the book and always picks it up with enthusiasm. This is an excellent cookery book for a child. He is a very happy owner.

Baking or Magic?
We bought the book as a Christmas present for our granddaughter. She loved it. Whilst we have been unable to cook together in person we have had baking sessions on Skype. Microwaving marshmallows had the whole family marvel at the magic of baking. The stories are great too!

Fairytales with happy endings
This is one of the few fairytales I can read to my children. They are fun and lighthearted compared to the original sinister Grimm tales. The characters are more human and likeable. Just the revision the original fairytales needed.

Good book but not wjhat I expected
Good idea for a book. More story than I expected though. I thought there'd be more baking but there is a recipe for each story. If you are looking for a cook book for older children 8+ this is not it. Better for younger ones. Nadiya needs to write a cook book for 8-15 years olds - like Sam Stern.
