WFH essential at incredible price
This AOC monitor is truly the best solution I could find for working from a home location with a minimal setup. Whilst there are many higher spec and higher quality monitors, this one, at £240. Is exceptional value and quality for my money. The video and sound reproduction are excellent. Out of the box, it has a built in HD webcam with mic, built in speakers, 1 master usb-c input <> output port and several USB 3 ports. It also came with a USB-C to USB-C Lead for connecting laptop to monitor. It should be noted that this cable comes with a USB-3 adaptor socket attached and is easily missed. With several additional USB-3 sockets, the blue usb type, I can use it as a device hub to charge all iOS and other devices. I only need 2-3 cables for everything like tablets, headset, power banks etc. As the setup is not fast charging, I do have to plan ahead but for the minimalist who is always looking to cut out all duplicate processes and kit, I think this is absolutely fine. my need came about as i often work from a second home and travel by motorcycle so travelling light becomes an art form when compromise is NOT an option. I don’t like the laptop camera or speakers + mic. I like to look and sound professional in meetings and presentations, so need a decent higher mounted, height adjustable, camera. This monitor means I can literally unplug and pack my laptop, with a few clothes and shaving bag, get on my bike and go. I don’t need anything else; no laptop power supply, no camera, no phone charger or various other device chargers. Everything is charged, or operates, from this ‘Swiss Army’ monitor. The speakers are an absolute bonus too and mean I can undertake Udemy or video training sessions without needing m a sound bar or BT headset. I can also watch Netflix and Amazon content from the desk if I want. Whilst I won’t, it’s nice to know I could.

Great business monitor but rubbish mic
Really pleased with this as a home office monitor. Picture quality is great, can fit loads on the screen and the curve isn’t too large to make it uncomfortable to have to turn head. I really wanted a monitor with an Ethernet port so I only had a single USB-C connector into my laptop, which this doesn’t have, but easily rectified with a cheap USB-A to Ethernet adapter which I’ve plugged into the monitor. The built in camera/microphone isn’t brilliant and I had a lot of comments about sounding distant and tinny, so bought an external USB mic that plugs into the monitor instead and does the job. So given no Ethernet and rubbish mic giving 4 stars, otherwise superb picture quality and performance, no noticeable colour blur or screen tear. Haven’t tried with games only business

Great monitor at a matching price
I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro. It's a great laptop but the downside to the M1 processor is that you can only have one external monitor. I decided to upgrade my old 21" Acer monitor to this 34" AOC ultrawide version and I'm glad I did. Yes, the picture quality isn't as good as more expensive models but there are a few settings, including manual tuning, for brightness which make it good enough for my needs and great for the price point. I used to use a Dell dock so I could connect everything, but this monitor comes with a USB hub and also allows USB-C connectivity with power passthrough so all I need to plug into the mains is the monitor. This might sound like a small thing but it's great. I haven't really used the built-in speakers as I tend to have a headset on when I need sound but did test them and the sound quality seemed reasonable. Especially for what's designed as a home office monitor rather than a gaming one. Overall, I'm very happy. I can code with multiple programs open and, perhaps more importantly, run RPG sessions with ease. I was able to open ObsidianMD, Acrobat, and my internet browser easily side-by-side and still have space on the MacBook itself for Discord. Another plus is that when I needed to work from home, I plugged my work laptop (running Windows) in (it also as a Thunderbolt port) and it worked like a charm. I would recommend this monitor to anyone.

Fantastic Product
I have always relied on 2 screens and I was initially cautious about 1 super wide screen. Having bought this, I don’t think I’d look back, especially with this product’s quality. I’ve saved the footprint of another screen stand, along with not needing a hub as the main components , webcam & wireless keyboard & mouse connect into the back of the screen, meaning I simply hook up with the USB-C connection to my laptop and I’m good to go. I would highly recommend as the picture quality is also superb

Limited input resolutions
While this screen is beautiful, and works incredibly well at its native resolution, it has a limited selection of input resolutions. The only 1440p resolution it accepts is the full ultrawide version. This is fine for PC/Mac, but will not support eg PS5 The closest resolution it will accept from PS5 is 1080p 16:9
