Works great on 2008 Mercedes C350 Sport
So my order for this backup camera and the FAKRA cable got lost in the mail, but I had no issues with getting a refund from Amazon. Top notch customer service as always! I ended up purchasing the same camera and FAKRA cable from another source. Using Raymond Urias' great DIY instructional Youtube video, the install was straightforward. I took my time doing this, and all in all it took around 2 hours. My advice for those attempting to install this themselves:- when you get to the point of trying to connect the video cable to the back of the head unit, use a thin flexible tube at least 18 inches in length to help with feeding the video cable thru the small space from the footwell area. I taped the video cable to the tube and just fed it through. Use something flexible.- If you get a black screen when reversing, double check your power connections. I had a black screen at first and found out that it was due to my poor attempt at using an ATO Fuse Circuit Tap. I ended up just wrapping the exposed end of the red power wire around the 15AMP fuse that's installed in slot 71. After that, it worked for me- If you're typically busy with work and life, split the install into two phases. I tackled removing the trunk trim pieces, installed the camera, and running the video cable to the front passenger footwell on the first weekend. I finished up the install with the wiring (for ground and power connections), connecting to the head unit and testing the next weekend.- If you have split fold down seats, use them! I have fold down seats so it made running the video cable from the trunk to the front passenger side a breeze.- take your time. Use Raymond's Youtube videos as a reference. He covers everything you need to do.

Operation
The camera works. Installation wasn’t bad for a 2010 W204. The reference lines don’t move with the wheels. The resolution isn’t great. But it’s useable. Plus the angle is a little off. It points too much down angle. But as I said it’s very useable.

Simple Install.
I followed Raymond Urias how to video which was pretty on point. Camera is good quality but not an exact fit for my 2008 Mercedes c300 unfortunately. The camera is in a weird downward facing position looking more toward the ground. Everything is pretty straight forward the hardest part was connecting the FAKRA cable to the head unit.I should’ve got a different FAKRA Cable and would’ve been a better fit whatever the case is still works.
