I have had a lot of heat packs. I've had bad cramps for years and I've been through handmade rice in a sock heat packs, rechargeable heat packs, stuffed animal heat packs and gel heat packs. This one is the best I've ever used. It has two types of fabric, one is soft and the other is coarse, both work exceedingly well at staying warm for what was probably close to an hour, which in my experience is really dang good for a microwavable heating pad. It's weighted, so I don't need to apply pressure, it's the perfect size to cover all the affected area, and the lavender scent goes around my whole room. This is quite literally the perfect heating pack!

This heating pad is truly brilliant. It is so soft, and it holds the heat very well. It also smells delicious; the scent is subtle, but it is clean and relaxing.

My wife loves her heating pad. I bought it for her for menstrual cramps, muscle recovery from the gym, and neck tension seeing that she’s prone to headaches.The texture is great, it’s not lumpy at all so it feels good. It has two sides with different fabrics. One is cotton/sheet like and the other is softer like microfiber.It’s great because the cotton side permeates hotter where as the microfiber side while still hot, does not permeate as hot. So you can switch between or pick the one side you prefer. The whole pad is obviously the same temperature.It’s also great because it doesn’t have a strong, perfume smell. My wife is sensitive to scents. It does have a little bit of a nutty, very very mild smell. And you can only really tell when you sniff it.I think the size is good, although I also think if they could make it slightly larger, it would be fantastic. The perfect size to cover more area. I would say it retains heat fairly well. Not anything incredible. It will be hot for 15-30 min and progressively become warm and it will stay warm for quite a while.It’s great to use as heat therapy for sore muscles after working out. It’s great for neck tension and headaches. It’s also great for upper, lower back, cramps during that time of the month. It’s honestly overall become a staple. If you are someone who deals with this kind of pain or even if you’re just a woman who menstruates; get this heating pad.Worth every penny.

We call these nonny’s … or nonnies… have used them for years and pretty much every day… they all wear out over time and we have gone though a bunch… this one is really nice with the two different sides… very comfortable and the longest lasting heat from previous nonnies… we’ve put our old ones in the freezer for when we need that…

I needed some time to investigate the features and tweak my Sacksy Thyme unscented heating pad before I wrote this review. Now - after using it several times - I love it! I've used seed filled microwave heating pads before and Sacksy is the best. It looks great, the unscented pad gently smells swell and softly molds to my body (I use it for my lower back, neck and shoulders). I just need to wiggle it around a bit to get exactly the right spot.It took me time to understand why the pad was not getting hot enough as per the enclosed instructions. I believe the company instructions are geared for microwaves at 1000 watts while my compact microwave is 700 watts, thus it took me longer to safely heat up. Once figured out it was perfect! and the warm, penetrating heat lasted at least half an hour on my aching body.This well-made Sacksy Thyme pad definitely helps the discomforts of this aging senior.

Easy to use. Good weight & size, flexible. Instructions say to heat up for 90sec. Gets decently warm. I usually heat it up for 90sec, let it sit, then heat it up again for an extra 30sec. But that’s just my preference.

Easy to heat, no strong smells, good fabric, great size!
