"Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend." It is a beautiful presentation of esoteric astrology and philosophy, very clear and accessible. It is unique, not an astrology text per se but more a manual on how to deal with life. One rule for astrologers is to never outline a problem or challenge without giving a way to meet it or navigate the territory. This book offers wisdom and guidance to traverse the terrain; confirmation for effort.The comments on karma, disillusion and fear bolster courage. His book is a guide for those points in life, a guidebook for living fully and fearlessly; it could be subtitled "How to Master Life."

If you look up books on Saturn there aren't many. So I am grateful someone took the time to write this. However, there needs to be better editing. Things were repeated many times over and over. It could have been a better book if someone had tightened up the screws a little. Still there is valuable information in here and I am glad I have this book in my library. If you are at all interested in astrology and the personalities behind the planets, this is a good book to start with on Saturn.

I have just started this book... So, giving it 5 stars provisionally. Will amend and elaborate once I've gone through the book.Really disappointed to find no discussion of Saturn when stationary, especially in a Natal Chart. Stationary planets are hugely important, and I would have appreciated experienced insight here.

This book is an eye-opener for me - it summed up pretty much everything that's been happening with me for several months and why certain events happened at a certain time. I even used to think Saturn as a ‘devil’ planet but I am glad that I was able to break my limited beliefs around Saturn and more willing to accept the lessons it’s bringing. I’ve purchased far more expensive books around this topic or astrology in general, but this book is definitely the one I would recommend who’s keen to exploring to plants and its aspects but more in depth.

The timing of me discovering this book is very interesting. I have been hearing the sounds in the rings of Saturn. I even was going to title my first book series after Saturn. So, I was very eager to read this book. What I will say is I truly appreciate the way the author presented the information. As I was reading the text, I was able to identify with the information presented, as well as see the commonality of the general whole. Well done and a great informative read to master your Saturn. "Saturn spiritual master, spiritual friend" is not an ordinary astrology book but much better. Robert Wilkinson's approach to the subject is richer and deeper. He's looking into the matter from a different angle and he is shading light over things we, most likely, were pondering over often but still didn't have crystallized answer for. Subjects like why our life goes into the direction where it goes. His book opens new horizons before us to understand how life operates and it is offering us insights in how we can achieve more balanced and harmonious existence. It's a portal to spiritual growth and higher self. A text that can reprogram your brain to see opportunities where you've seen only limitations. Via his book, Robert Wilkinson is making us look at Saturn lessons in a much more positive way.Beautifully composed text, easy and smooth to read.

The writing style is very clear and easy to follow.The chapters are well organized and the book has a sense of cohesion.I didn't find enough new material in it which would merit buying it. A lot of what is written can be found online at different astrology sites for free.

Makes a great gift, especially for someone going through a Saturn return- but it can benefit everyone who has a Saturn in their astrology chart (everyone!!!). Thanks for a real gem, Robert!
