FenixPD36R Pro High Lumen Tactical Flashlight, 2800 Lumen Dual Rear Switches USB-C Rechargeable with Battery and Lumentac Organizer

I love flashlights and this is a great one. These are very powerful flashlights that fit easily in the hand, and do not require fumbling around to find the two control buttons, as both are in the end cap, are large and easily distinguished . The two button arrangement makes it very easy to turn on and select the power level you want. The two lowest powers are both useful and do not seem to drain the battery very quickly. We live in an area with many animals, and the higher powers pick up reflections from eyes in the forest if you hold the device close to your own eyes. The highest power is stunning, but caution is needed. It would be dangerous store this device in a way the buttons might accidentally be pushed, and not be noticed, such as in a backpack. At high power, a great deal of heat is generated very quickly, and I have little doubt that it could damage plastics or paper next to the light if left on for more than a few seconds. The USB C charging connection is very convenient. It charges surprisingly fast. The rubber cover for the charging port seems a bit fragile, but I have had no problems with it so far. The belt holster is necessary and adequate. I would not carry the device in a pants pocket.

I like this light for the size, and the brightness. It’s very well made, and I like that it doesn’t take proprietary batteries. It does get quite warm on turbo mode, and will dim down in short order. Overall a great flashlight!

I own a Fenix PD35 2020 edition and it has held up amazingly but I wanted an upgrade. This is an upgrade for sure.Pros:Extremely bright, has a nice hotspot and outer light edge.Rear has dual buttons thats much better than the shaft button (like on PD35) so no accidental strobe triggersUSB-C charging with waterproof portCons:This thing is about 1.5x bigger in width than the PD35. (This isn't really a con to me but was a surprise when I got it out of the box)It is not an 18650 (does come with its own battery) - Sorry 18650 usersOverall thoughts:Well worth the money. VERY sturdy build like all Fenix products and I have had no issues so far. Very happy!

This light is super bright, has long battery life. Really well made, mine has hit the ground countless times and works great.

For the reason I purchased the item, it met my expectations. It's bright, durable, and practical. Yet it is small enough to carry around with you for when you need it. The light comes with the items you will need to recharge it, but I would strongly recommend getting a spare battery for those unexpected moments. Plus having an extra rechargeable battery won't hurt. If you are adventurous and find yourself purchasing a light that uses the same battery you are well prepared. The dual switch is a little difficult to adjust to, but it's not a deal break in this case. Just requires some practice and getting use to. Fantastic light for what you get.

No joke I've used this thing as a hand warmer. Theoretically, it might also be useful as a defensive weapon since it's so bright and has an instant strobe button. It's 5 brightness settings are fully adequate for all purposes in the jail.The only gripe I'd have is the case is not adequate. If it's brightest setting is on, 15 seconds of you not noticing it turned on in the case and the case melts. Ask me how I know.

Amazing do it all flashlight. Really bright, easy to use, and durable flashlight. Cant really find faults with it other than it does take a while to charge despite usb C if you’re charging while you go to bed then no issues at all. Used these at work all the time for years. Dropped them and got them wet and it still worked.
