These are good bowls and much more durable than the Costco equivalents. The Costco ones would easily chip and these seem to be made of a stronger china. I also bought the user's soup spoons (Chinese). It's a good value for the money and I have bought two sets and I am pleased with the purchase.

I love these bowl. Very large. I've had them for about a year and they've held up well. No fading or cracking. If ceramics are cheaply glazed, the glaze can wear out and then bowls start to overheat in the microwave. Not these! The food warms up, and the bowl may absorb some of the heat from the food within, but the microwave does not heat up the bowl itself.They were packed carefully enough, but one of mine did arrive with a small chip on the lip of the bowl.I will happily buy more if I need extras one day.
