BRIGHTLINESSteel Cross Bars Roof Rack with Lock System for 2007-2015 Lexus RX350

Directions suck----after putting on the leg and clamp assembly to side rail-then you have to slide crossbars through the legs--in order to attach to both sides you have to push 1 end about 7" through from inside--then push on it to fit into other leg so that each side has about 3 1/2 " overhang but inside the leg is a plastic release which you cannot reach-I could not get it through no matter what I tried-unless I am dumb as ****-so finally used a hammer and the rubber top came loose and balled up as well as destroying the end cap. Also step 8 -tighten plastic nut---3 out of 4 would not stay on!!!!-Possible I did something wrong but I followed Instructions and even made copies of all the Pictures to work off of!!----Just hope they don't fall off-they seem sturdy.-------PS.-6/4/15Company Emailed me a Video--and also sent a new CrossBar--I installed it in 10 minutes-if you buy these-- contact Company for the Video before you Install-also a Great Company to replace the Bar I screwed up!!!!!!

The directions are horrible but I figured out that if you put all the clips on the railing and keep them loose and then put the rods through, the process is much easier.

I ordered these after we drove from Ind to Fla . I had purchased the keeper to put on top to place our luggage in. I went to Walmart and bought two foam kitchen rugs ro place under the luggage and everthing worked great . We unloaded the luggage and and noticed a dent in the top from the weight. My husband popped it back out and we were ok. I went ahead and ordered the steel cross bars for the trip back to Ind. I have found we are using them to tie down several items already. Well worth the money. Nice because they lock and I had no problem putting them on. It tookAbout 10 min. They are sturdy.10out mi.s

The plastic lock covers don't seem like they'll last but the rest is very strong and fine. Worth the savings from the OEM Lexus rack at, what, 6 times the price or so?

Excellent option to OEM! No issues with bars or hardware. Wife installed, secured roof box and traveled 800 miles with no complaints.Month 4 and second purchase for second vehicle. Cannot get key into the keyhole. Tried lubricating with no luck. Asked wife if she observed any issues and then she laid it on me. She was unable to get the key into one of the locks and another would not turn when inserted. I looked at each locking cover and found the covers she had issues with. We tried to open but could not.I will be returning the set I recently purchased tomorrow and replacing my wife's as soon as I can get the covers off. Very disappointing!

You get what you pay for it was very difficult to install there is a video available from the company you have to email them for it and if you return them you will be responsible for shipping charges
