A Must Have
Great little tool with a big capability. Fits into its holder really well and clips onto a belt or on a tool bag.Great for snipping or cutting cable, used it to cut 1.5mm and 2.5mm so easily. Very impressed with it.

Good cut, short blade
I needed to replace my old CK version of these and thought I’d try these ones as well reviewed. Their main job is cutting Dyneema rope which blunts a razor sharp knife instantly! This type of scissor is all I have found that cuts it well and lasts. (The old ones finally blunt after hard service)These cut just as well as the old ones, easy through cable ties, dyneema and wire. Their main disadvantage over the CK straight edge is the straight cutting blade is shorter due to the cable cutter. This does affect their use for me but otherwise excellent.

Make sure these are what you really need
The quality of these is OK but not premium. The blades are sharp and cut well given the right materials, but don't expect them to perform well as general purpose scissors. The notched part of the blade is for stripping and cutting wires, which it does well once you get used to it, but it's no use for cutting anything else. If you try to cut something like you would with normal scissors the notch will catch and make it difficult, so you end up using the straight part of the blade where you have less leverage and short blades so it's hard going. I pretty quickly found its limit with cutting solid wires too. Above a certain thickness the notched blades would just separate slightly and bend the wire rather than cutting through it. For thinner, multi-cored or stranded wires they do work well. The handles are large and comfortable but tend to get stuck on my thumb, making it slightly more difficult to put them down than it should be. Maybe that's just due to the shape of my thumb! The holder is nice for storage but I don't find it practical to use on a belt. Trying to pull the scissors out tends to pull the whole holder with it.So they're OK for very specific jobs, but I prefer using separate tools - wire cutter / stripper for cutting and stripping wires and scissors for... well, scissors.
