This puzzle was exactly what I was looking for; it's perfect for a child (ages 4-7). Most importantly, being a wooden puzzle, it's very sturdy. The pieces or the frame gets bent as they do in many types of materials used in kids puzzles. It's colorful and does not have so much "stuff" about each state on the pieces, that it is cluttered. Each piece has the name of the state, the state capital (with a star) and one picuture of something that the state is known for; for example Florida - oranges. Underneath each piece, is the same state outline and the same information as on the associated piece. Highly recommend.

My 6 year old grandson loves it. I wanted him to learn geography as well as state capitals. Only negative, the background lines are a lil bit off from puzzle piece! But overall, nice puzzle.

I got this United States puzzle for my 2.5 yo grandson, who was showing an interest in the various states we have visited. I liked this one because it is made of wood! I also like the bright colors and the fact that the state capitals are notated. My grandson LOVES it, has most of the states memorized, and knows where they belong!

My granddaughter (age 4) L-O-V-E D this puzzle. I bought about half a dozen puzzles for her visit, and this is the one she wanted to do over and over again. Plus it got us talking about the little symbols on each state so we then looked them up on the Internet. She learned so many new things, she was jabbering to everybody about it. (I had a US puzzle as a kid, and I think the only reason I was able to pass us states/capitals tests because of my dyslexia was because I had done my US puzzle so much.)

Bought this for my grandson who was studying the US states in school. He loves it and his younger brother is playing with it too. The frame hold the puzzle in place and the pieces name the state as well as the capital and has pictures showing some of the things for which the state is noted. I painted out the picture of the puzzle within the frame which made it more challenging to put together.

Heavy cardboard pieces. Nice colors. I would have liked it more if when you pick up each State the State name wasn’t there. I wanted it so the children $ me could LEARN where the States were located on the map, putting together the PUZZLE
