How does the holster fit on the belt? By the clip only? Is there a belt hole on the holster for the belt to go through?

The holster has a clip on the back that fits over a belt. The clip is able to rotate while on the belt. Due to the bulk of it I find it can be uncomfortable if perpendicular - especially sitting in the driver's seat. I am able to twist it to be horizontal. The cover has a magnet that makes it very convenient to not worry that the phone will come out. I like it for protection of the camera lenses. So far I have not dropped the phone when removing it from the holster.
