Sonos SUB MINI WHITE Wireless Subwoofer

I have the main bass unit from Sonos for my tv and dvd set up. I wanted a separate system for my cd and radio set up - something I could switch on and off quickly without having to go into the app. So I have two Play 1’s and this mini bass. It’s perfect! It’s a medium sized room and fills the space with bass effortlessly. Setting up was a breeze although it’s the first time I’d tapped the top with my phone as part of the registration process, using the same near-field technology that our credit cards use when tapping terminals with the phone. I didn’t quite believe it had worked as a second or two delay occurred (I have a v old iphone).Since buying the Sonos Boost, all of my Sonos products have linked together and appeared in the Sonos app seemlessly so I mention this to anyone still struggling. The Boost sets up a separate wi-fi circuit for the exclusive use of Sonos stuff and it too works perfectly.Back to the Bass - this is one of the few Sonos products I’d describe as value for money as well as being of the same quality as everything else. You don’t buy Sonos for bargains, but it’s worth mentioning as this unit give the Play 1’s real body and is worth every penny.

The media could not be loaded.  For about 6 months i had the sonos beam 2 paired with two sonos one SL speakers.the surround sound was amazing and the bass form the beam was just enough that i was happy and didnt need an upgrade but i always felt it was missing abit of UMMFF.The SUB Mini changed that! movies, shows and music feel like they have another layer to them now.theres no buzzing or humming sound from the sub and despite it being alot smaller and more compact compared to others I've seen on the market, it outputs alot of bass that can fill a medium to large room.Best of all, its minimilistic design blends into most living rooms and once connected, its very easy to forget its there.I was really worried that the bass from this sub would be overpowering as some of the reviews on here had hinted but found that it is 100 adjustible through the sonos app. i opted to keeping it at the default level of 0 when browsign the internet and watching youtube videos but turning it up to +6 when watching movies/ listening to music to really feel the thuds and growls on the screen.settings up the device is very simple and if you have already setup a sonos device in the past, its the exact same process. I had mine up and running within 5minutes.Overall, the Sub adds a whole other layer of emersiveness and setting everything up is very simple.

A fab addition to a stereo pair of Sonos ones even better with beam and Sonos one surrounds. I enjoy the music as much as the AV sound enhancement. Unless you have a massive room I find it a more balanced sound than the full Sonos sub.

Really happy to have added this to my existing Sonos system.Initial set up was so easy via the app, and the depth of sound across all genres of music and using with soundbar and tv is brilliant.Love the control that the app provides to regulate the sub output.Granted it’s not cheap, but in the words of the famous advert; L’Oréal because I’m worth it!

My review for the setup of the Sonos Mini Sub is based on the android setup processYou plug in the Sonos Mini Sub (SMS) and then go to the Sonos App, give the SMS time to be found on your network, it doesn't take long, the Sonos App will tell you when it's found. Once the SMS is found the Sonos App will ask you to confirm you want to add the SMS, select the room and speaker setup you already have, then it asks you to confirm by tapping your phone on-top of the SMS. It will then ask you to confirm the update process, click yes and it will take a few minutes. I found the whole process simple and took around 5 minutesI would highly recommend then going in your Sonos settings, with your favourite song playing, and tweak the base, surrounds, and all sound settings inside the equaliser. Adding the SMS will now change your original setup because the SMS takes care of all low base sounds freeing up the rest of your setup to take care of the mid and high range, before I bought the SMS there was always the issue, with just having the play base and surrounds, that when watching films the sound at times would be extremely loud especially during intense moments in action films for example. With the SMS there is no longer this problem, it takes care of all the low end base balancing out the sound experience across all the speakersNow everything is setup, I found the detail and music range is absolutely amazing. The range is full, deep, immersive and the sound quality really does fill the room, and if you love music the new SMS will only increase your love for music, in my opinionThe Sonos Mini Sub has the same intention with film and TV lovers, it really does create that home cinema experience. I really hope that sooner rather than later Sonos offers an option to store settings to enable us to switch between movie and music listening on the fly. I found that setting up for music and movies are almost completely different. It's a pain to keep adjusting the setup between the both. Presets could make an amazing experience ... If you’re sitting on the fence like I was, just do it.I already had a Sonos beam for a while and was debating getting one of these for a real long time, so glad I finally took the plunge!You notice it immediately, everything just sounds incredible!! No rattles or shakes involved, just nice deep smooth lovely bass.Also as others have pointed out, it really opens up your existing speakers in the highs and mids so they perform even better. Literally can’t tell the difference between this setup and being at the cinema.
