It is not as sweet, obviously, as other cacoa mixes. I love the flavor, though! I do have to add some sweetener, but it's also really great with extra healthy creamer!

My favorite night time routine. It sets the tone every night for me. Absolutely love it. It’s the only mushroom hot coco that comes in dark chocolate as well. Very yummy, calming, & relaxing. I do add a Tbsp of honey or creamer or date powder to sweeten it.

Love this brand! Never had this flavor before. Slight bitter taste that is overcome by mixing in coffee. Place small amount of coffee (1/3 cup or less) in bottom of cup. Empty serving size into coffee and stir to smooth to a thick paste, working out all the lumps. Then slowly add rest of coffee to cup as you stir to incorporate. I will say the small individual sized packets (cocoa/ coffee/ latte) TASTE better and are more convenient for quick serving. Since I put these in my coffee, it masks any odd taste (slightly sour bitter metallic taste). Would highly suggest sealing in a tin or jar to store as the packets don’t easily reseal once opened and the powder is in the track of the ziplock.

Best Mushroom Coffee ever

I want to say that I love their decaf coffee but I am a hot chocolate drinker. I tried this and you must love coconut because you can taste it. Very strong semi bitter taste. I had to mix it with a Swiss miss packet to be able to drink it. Acquired taste. Also it doesn't dissolve very well so be careful not to hit a concentrated bubble (once again bitter). Tastes more like a dark chocolate concentrated cocoa with coconut tones. So for the price and having to mix it with something else the price is rather expensive.

I am a night owl and have always found it difficult to go to bed before 1:00 am. My best friend made me a cup of the Four Sigmatic Mushroom Hot Cacao mix when I was visiting, and I couldn’t BELIEVE how well it worked. I was skeptical when she handed me the mug, but I started yawning about 10 minutes later, and we called it a night. I had the stuff again the next two nights and, for the first time in months, fell asleep before midnight. It has an earthy, slightly bitter flavor, hardly sweet — but it’s not unpleasant at all. I find it pretty comforting. Each packet makes enough for 100 ml/3.5 oz/6.5 Tbsp of water (or your beverage of choice). If you want a full 8 oz mug of the stuff, you’ll need to use two packets. I use one packet for a small cup, and that’s enough to start making my eyes and forehead feel heavy. It is now part of my nightly routine at home. Definitely recommended! Update, July 2018: The price of this item has fluctuated drastically in the past few weeks and has gone much higher than what I feel 10 packets are worth, so I decided this past week to buy reishi powder in bulk and try making my own version of this mix with cocoa powder, cinnamon, and agave nectar. I figured out the proper ratios to mimic this blend, and it works great. To save on money, I'll be sticking with my homemade mix as my nightly drink, but I will keep a few Four Sigmatic packets on hand for when I'm traveling.

Product shows to come in the tin can which has measuring cup inside. Product arrived in a ziplock style bag. Not what was shown and what we are used to purchasing. I like the four sigmatic brand, but not this time.

Tastes great, love that cocoa is the 1st ingredient and is not heavily sweetened or full of unnatural ingredients. It says to use a frother but it still tasted great mixed with a spoon and hot water, it mixed well. I did add a pinch of stevia for a little more sweetness. Very pleased!

My ABSOLUTE FAV!!!! Oh I think I may be addicted to this lovely healthy hot cocoa! Love that it is PACKED with all the healthy nutrients of mushrooms. Yet ya never taste it.I have tried other brands but my sensitive tummy reacted to each. This is the first that did not flare me up. Yes it costs more but the smoothness and consistency in the flavor is sooo worth it! Also, Yes it does make a smaller cup size, and sometimes i like that. If I'm feeling like a larger one, I simply add a bit of raw cacao powder, pinch or two of ceylon cinnamon, and top it up. It took some experimenting to get the right ratio, but well worth it. Love this cup of goodness. Truly relaxing and enjoyable. Especially if you are dairy, sugar, Gluten intolerant. I have also added a dolop of chas whipping coconut cream on occasion, but only once or twice. I really enjoy the hot cocoa flavor of this one as is!

Lo sto prendendo in abbinamento con il Think Organic Elixir Mix perché sto affrontando un momento universitario e lavorativo molto pesante. La combo è perfetta ma anche questo singolo ( è stato il primo prodotto che ho acquistato ) è magnifico. Super super consigliato

Ich mag den Geschmack gerne. Es hat Kakao Komponenten, allerdings habe ich auch eine leichte Schärfe (ähnlich wie bei Ingwer) geschmeckt. Die Dosierung nehme ich hoch vor, um den Effekt zu merken und ich bilde mir ein, dass das auch funktioniert. ;)

I seriously love this stuff! I’m so happy a friend of mine had shared a packet with me one day- I’m hooked now. The taste is great, and I have definitely noticed a difference in my overall concentration level and focus while using it consistently. I wish it was cheaper!! That is my only complaint; although I know I’m getting a quality product so I can understand. It’s something I try to buy only when on sale because I’m a frugal person, but it’s worth it if you’re thinking of trying. I use it in a normal cup of coffee (however you’d normally make yours, but add this in too!) sooo good.
