Organic Kampot Pepper - Rare Cambodian Peppercorns Black 4 Ounce by Mekong Pepper

Compared to most black peppers, this tastes very clean and yet flavorful in its own unique way: a little citrusy, a little peppery, a little earthy. Works well for just about anything, including the classic salt and pepper steaks, omelettes, dry and wet marinades, all meats. Its intensity level sits smack in the middle between overly pungent and too mild. It's just right.I'd definitely try their other peppercorns, because I have a hunch they will be good - simply because this company cares about its workers and the traditional methods of which they grow these peppercorns.

I am really excited that I found these peppercorns. They are truly special. The pepper produced from grinding these peppercorns is very unique because the flavor is subtle yet has a little kick and the subtlety remains long after the meal - as a little hint of the spice. It is not too strong as testified by my wife who doesn’t like mild spicy of anything. If she likes it you will like it. At the same time it has enough flavor as a pepper to enhance your steak, salads, eggs etc. I enjoy it so much that I now have it with me on vacation with a little bit of it ground up so I take it to restaurants to add flavor to various appropriate dishes. I highly recommend it and suggest you buy some before they run out!

This is great, full flavored Kampot pepper that we have purchased multiple times. We have visited Cambodia and know this is the real deal, versatile and also organic and fair-trade too!

For many years, I have been a very stringent user of Black Malabar pepper; I've been missing out. This black pepper is as fragrant as it is flavorful. You cannot not tell the difference in any dish you make.I recently made some salad dressings and soups that I can very distinctly taste the Kampot pepper in a very good way.Give this a try if you have keen taste buds and you will not be disappointed!

I like it to put on my steak. It give the flavor out of the steak. It make taste better. I probably choose kapok blackpepper for my dishes from now on.

I like this brand of Kampot Pepper. I’ve been using another brand of Kampot and it was not available when it was time to reorder so I tried Ewas Global. I’m glad I tried this as it is very flavorful with a bold taste. I also like the fact it is single origin. I received another shipment in Aug 2019 - Kampot Pepper continues to delight - fresh, strong and bold - Delicious!June 2020 - Just received the new fresh harvest of the black and the red Kampot Peppers. I find them both to be flavorful and delicious

Absolutely great pepper. full of flavor, with a wonderful aroma. highly recommend giving this one a try.I am now ordered several pounds of this pepper, as well as having had an interaction with their customer service. and I can say without a doubt they have earned five stars in all aspects. I made a food basket for several of my friends for Christmas last year(staples that I consistently keep stocked), and this was the first item that I added to it, as well as the top item that the recipients raved about. on one of my shipments the amazon pouch had split open and my pepper was lost to the shipping gods, I had replacement pepper on the way in no time. i will continue to order the mekong kampot pepper everytime i'm running low

The 'strong black pepper' product is excellent. I use it on everything! The flavor is spicy and deep. It works great as a fine grind or as a large grind, cooked or raw, it's excellent. Highly recommended.
