I really didn't want to spend so much money on a window sunshade; however, I did purchase this after trying to get a cheaper one to work with no success. This sunshade fits perfectly. It is extremely easy to unfold and install it and it's very easy to remove it, fold it up, and put it in the back behind your seat. The ease of use is excellent. The best part is this sunshade works extremely well. It does a great job keeping the inside of the car cooler in the high heat days. It protects your dashboard from sun damage. This is a must buy item for anyone with a C5 Corvette.

Fitment is based on how close to the bottom on windshield you want to cover. Since i have a Z51 and 3 speakers on the dash, I insert to the bottom. The shade tilts back and my sunvisors hold in place. The reason there is space between windshield and shade is for heat disappation. Too close to the windshield will make it have those colored circles over time. It keeps car cooler than not having one. It's meant to keep your dash and speakers and other interior pieces from drying out and cracking, as well as your steering wheel not being as hot as the sun. When not in use I fold up and place between passenger door and seat. It's like it was made to go there. Since I'm the only one in the car, this only makes sense. I could always put in frunk if I had a passenger. We'll made product, looks good and fits.

I own a c8 2025 and this is worth every penny. You really do get what you pay for. It fits perfect in the windshield and protects the interior of the car. It’s VERY thick.
