The potency is high (5000 IU), which is perfect if you have a vitamin D deficiency and need to boost your levels quickly. However, if you’re using it for general health and prevention, I recommend taking one capsule every other day instead of daily, as the dose is quite strong. This way, you get the benefits without the risk of taking too much over time. Overall, very clean ingredients and great value for the amount you get.

The capsule is just slightly larger than other brands. But, the savings in price over the brand I had been using for several years was nice change.
