The food chopper works, gets the job done, easy to use, easy to clean , and is a good deal.

I was replacing a chopper that I had for many years. This chopper is sharp, easy to use and clean, and perfect for my needs. It's made even better than the one I had so I expect it'll last even longer. Highly recommend!!!

Great item but clear part has pieces that breaks off, not dishwasher friendly I'm guessing. Red Chopper part and red spacer seem ok. Threw it away, one new one , will only hand wash clear part now.

The base of this product cracked after owning it for only 8 months. I've been preparing food for well over 50 years, so I know how to take care of kitchen equipment. Cleaned after every use, not abused in any way. Yet, when I reached out to Geedel, their main customer service team promised me on three occassions that they would contact their 'Amazon' person who would arrange for an exchange/replacement. Corporate customer service, never said they would replace the product, and no Amazon person representing Geedel reached out to me. My recommendation, stay away. This is a company that places no value on honoring the quality of their products.

The chopper is not user-friendly nor does it chopper throughout items

It is well made and does a great job!

Easy to use when you're chopping onions for a pot of chili, mincing a potato for hash browns, veggies for soup. Cleans up easily and quickly.

I purchased this chopper expressly for the task of chopping onions for use in my meatloaf recipe. Last night was the first time I've made meatloaf since getting it and it didn't take long to discover that this chopper simply isn't up to the task. I prefer sweet onion in my meatloaf, usually about half of a medium-sized one and it immediately became obvious that it was too big for this device so I had to halve it again and then once more (cutting the onion to eighths) before any of it would fit in the chopper. After closing it up I tried using it to cut the onion but the blade kept getting caught in the onion and not retracting, no matter how firmly I hit it. I had to pull up hard on the plunger each time it got stuck for the first 10 or so "chops", after that it started self-retracting on its own. When I thought I had that first bit of onion chopped properly I opened it up, only to find that some parts were chopped extremely fine, and yet there were still a lot of unchopped pieces. I also found it difficult to get the chopped onion off the black base of the unit. Next, I tried chopping another piece of onion directly on my cutting board, and that worked okay but there were still a lot of large, unchopped pieces that end up between where the blade is and the inside wall of the clear part. The blade simply does not extend far enough to get those pieces. After futzing with it a few more minutes I tried cleaning it, gave up, and just chopped the rest of the onion I needed by hand with a knife. Cleaning the unit later took almost 10 minutes, and looking at it today I can see it still needs more cleaning. Guess what's going up for sale at my next yard sale?

When the package arrived, the box was mangled. Looked like people had been kicking it around or something, luckily the product itself wasn't broken. For the price, it works well enough but not as good as i'd hoped. It cuts through onion and garlic decently, sometimes the onion isn't chopped all the way through though. I tried tomato and it couldn't cut through the skin so i was left with mush.

Está bueno el producto para picar alimentos de consistencia dura, en caso de verduras aplica muy bien con la cebolla o el pepino, pero en cuanto a al tomate no funciona muy bien debido a que la cuchilla no es tan filosa, en vez de picarlo lo machaca y termina dejando una pasta, como si fuera una salsa mal licuada.

The chopping area is not tall enough for half an onion. In order to put things in the chopping area you must take out the blades and the cover separately as they are not attached to each other. This means that to put the blades back in you firt put the blade cover back in, then try to line the blades back up with it, then try to rotate that lot together to line up with the clips, without tipping the stuff you want to chop back out. Not ideal.

This chopper is great. Half the time to prepare chopped veg and does them so good. Well worth having in any kitchen.

Non capisco le recensioni negative riguardo alle sue prestazioni. Per chi non lo avesse capito: non si tratta di un frullatore manuale dove inserire la cipolla (o verdura) intera o a pezzi grossi, ma di un semplice trita cipolle (e verdure) manuale. Tagliare la cipolla a fette, inserire max 4-5 fette e schiacciare in continuazione la manopola fino a tritare la cipolla. Meglio se fatto sopra a un tagliere. Tutto qua, funziona benissimo 👍🏻
