The BLUE EDITION of the METAL RIDER BACK DECK has the same cards as the original, although the color accents in the back, ace of spades and tuck case are blue. This new blue color fits much better with the court cards color scheme.The numbered cards have that awesome metal customization of the original deck. Beautiful tuck case
Nicest tuck case ever. The cards are not metallic or shiny as you would expect by the pictures but still excellent cards. I also like the finish, they handle great!

No metallic coating
The cards are still pretty cool, but the deck I received did not have the metal coating that it appears to show in the photo. I don’t know if this was a manufacturing mistake or not, but I definitely wouldn’t purchase another deck of these.

They are not a metal deck.
I was disappointed to discover that these cards are not actual metal, but only plastic coated with a metal design to them. I have some other metal cards, and these would have been a great addition to my collection. Sadly, they are just another deck of cards.

Ice Ice baby... I'm sorry I won't do that again
I really like these cards. I've just started collecting unique cards and these will be nice addition. They're not my favorite cards, but I do appreciate variety.While unique in color, the face cards are of typical bicycle kind, no fancy designs. What did impress me are the pips. The black card pips look like reflective metal... although in reality, they are neither reflective nor metal. Discuss. Like I said, they just look that way. The red cards have a Ben-Day dot appearance, while maintaining an industrial feel.The jokers have safety pins on them. Not really sure why. One of them depicts the pin piercing a card.The backs of the card are clearly blue with some black shading on the top and bottom edges. Looking closely, you can see cracks in the "black ice".The tuck box looks exactly like it does in the picture which is shiny and somewhat reflective- looks nice with my other decks.I knew these were not metal, real metal cards for this price, not a chance.

Awesomely designed deck!
Very excited with these. At first, I was slightly disappointed because I thought they were more metallic, shiny with foil (like the crimson/cobalt metal luxe). They are not. BUT! BUT!! because of the way they are designed, they look metallic! It's pretty cool. They actually look like there is depth to them too. Very well designed. This is one of my favorite decks. Check out Max Playing Cards, wow. There is a wood design I'd love to have. Add to the want list!
