Good story of a frozen apocalypse
Kinda like Mad Max with an ice age and a disease which turns its victims into popsicles.

Mad Max on Ice!
Frostbite was so awesome! I love anything and everything post-apocalyptic and this was giving me great Mad Max vibes but in the snow instead of the desert. Keaton is one badass mercenary and she's by no means perfect. I was really surprised by some of the choices in the beginning but I loved the way both Keaton was portrayed. This was nonstop action with an interesting and deadly virus, an idealistic doctor, and greedy villains. I would watch the crap out of this story if it were made into a TV show or movie. As a side note, I really liked the lettering in this one; some of the graphic novels I've read lately have had really tight and hard to read lettering, but Frostbite's lettering was nicely spaced and super easy to read.

Buckle up for a chilly sci-fi ride
An icy Mad Max world, full of betrayal and lives spent cheaply. A nice sci-fi tale that neatly tied up by the end. Some of the art seems to be Bill Sienkiewicz inspired too - especially the bear! The world is well realised, with people huddled in cities trying to stay warm against the advance of a frozen world unleashed by a science experiment gone wrong. Then there's Frostbite, a disease that slowly turns people into ice - a process that speeds up whenever they try to stay warm. It's nice to see the time given to a story in comic book format that doesn't have superheroes, doesn't have established characters - and which has a good story to tell.It is, in short, cool.

Amazing artwork but...
First, the artwork. By itself, I'd give this book five stars. The writing was good enough that I stayed with it. The science goofs undid it for me a little, though. The temperatures, given in fahrenheit, just weren't that cold. The way words like pulsar and fusion were used made me groan.Still, it was enjoyable enough to spend a little time on it this afternoon. I don't feel bad recommending it.

Crazy good
In the future, scientists have brought about a new ice age. Along with this is a new disease - frostbite. It virtually freezes a person from the inside. Enter Keaton, a mercenary who has to get a scientist with a cute for the disease to Alcatraz. This is a cross of road warrior, book of Eli and the rather bad quintet. But it's actin packed and a lot of fun.

Good read for today's society
This was one of the better "end of days" type of story that I have read, especially with all that is going on right now. I picked this up just from reading the description and I am glad I did. It is well worth the read.

The kind of story that might just come true one day, alas...
Good classic story. Credible characters. The virus angle is interesting. Excellent drawing, especially in action scenes, but also in idle moments of the plot.
