I spent an entire day yesterday looking through forums and trying to fix this “HD” screen, where you can see every single pixel and the contrast is so poor that it hurts your eyes to read off of it. Over and over I see people having this same problem with their HP laptops, with no actual solutions coming from HP staff.Even with a “high contrast” display template, custom gamma and color settings, and ClearType added, this is as good as it looks. It reminds me of the screen on a PC I had 20 years ago.Don’t get this laptop if you need to do any true-to-color work like photo editing or design. Or writing. The listing photos are deceptively crisp.UPDATE: 3 days in the WIFI driver broke and now I’m unable to connect to the internet to fix it. Useless.

I would receive an error message about having a problem with the device. It would reboot automatically several times before I was able to use it. If I clicked between windows, it would shut down. As it turns out, the RAM chip was defective, right out the box. A tech replaced it and now it runs well. The video for videoconferencing is low resolution. I got this because I needed speed. That part works well as long as it remains on.

Wouldn't buy again.

This laptop has so many useful features and the clever design integrates everything extremely well. Excellent product just what I was looking for, nothing to say more than the purchase was expected.

I am very satisfied with this product. Especially those that work. Not only the great quality, but the value for what you are getting is pretty nice too. I love this design and definitely recommend
