I am trying a new a5 traveler's notebook setup, and these were too reasonably priced for me not to try. I was so pleasantly surprised as to how well they hold up to fountain pen ink -- I use a medium nib Pilot Custom 823 for writing and it lays down a LOT of ink, which was no problem for these great little books. There is a very slight amount of ghosting, and ink takes a second to dry, but all of my favorite fountain pen friendly papers face these issues. A very reasonable price for a lovely paper experience!My only qualm about these is that the Kraft paper cover have kind of a -- sticky? -- residue on them. I wiped them down with a damp paper towel and that seems to have alleviated the problem, but I was still kind of put off by it. Either way, I would certainly (and most certainly will) buy these notebooks again

Very nice journals. I like the paper quality and gap between lines.

I always buy these journals because they are small enough for travel and can be good through different seasons or to have a few for multiple purposes. I also feel like they do a decent job of not having pen bleed through pages.

I love the box it came in!I journal every day, but don't have the time to make my junk journal.This way when I'm finished with my journaling I can put it in the box. Then when I feel like I'm done for the year, for a vacation, or whatever I plan to journal, can put it in the box until I'm ready to make it into the complete junk journal.

Good for the price.Not good for marker or fountain pen, as it will bleed and bleed through.Good for pencil or ball-point. Paper is slightly toothy.Simple, suitable as a single subject notebook.

I use these with fountain pens and they work amazingly! No feathering or bleeding at all. They’re good quality and work as intended. I really like how simple they are.

Great sketching journal. I use them to practice, I do a small sketch everyday, and these are inexpensive and are good quality.

Great set! however, paper is not the best quality - just standard but that was what I expected anyway..
