FreeMascot IPL 200nm-2000nm Laser Safety Glasses for Laser Hair Removal Treatment and Laser Cosmetology Operator Eye Protection (Green)

This review is for FreeMascot IPL 200nm-2000nm Laser Safety Glasses, #B0BBR6LDJ2. I have no way to evaluate the spectrum that it blocks. They're quite dark but I can see clearly in a well-lit room. They fit securely over my eyeglasses which aren't overly large. The sides are shaded and prevent light from getting to your eyes, with our without eyeglasses. The sides can be extended or shortened. They're snug without being too tight.

They work and they fit over my prescription glasses.

People were right about the smell. It smells smoky.It doesn't fit over my cat glasses but my glasses are big so I guess it's fine. They came with a nice hard case for the glasses.Update: after a few months they no longer smell strong or like anything 😆

I needed a pair that would fit over my glasses comfortably. These work fine. Now I won’t get blinded by lasers. I haven’t gotten hit by lasers, at least I don’t think. I typically use these when I work in a plant room with a bunch of those blue and red lights and plants everywhere. Like peppers and tomatoes and sage, oregano, thyme… I think there is rosemary sometimes… maybe carrots, I forget. But anyway, if you just wear regular sunglasses, it doesn’t work well enough and it can hurt your eyes since those lights are so intense on one area of the spectrum. But with these laser protection glasses, I haven’t noticed any issues. They seem to be working fine. I’m usually only in there 5 - 15 minutes a day, but these glasses make the difference. I think there are beans in there too actually.

Purchased so I can do home IPL hair removal. They fit over my glasses and work like a trick. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this to wear over my glasses while using an IPL at-home machine I haven't put them to work yet, but my first impression is that both the case and the goggles smell EXACTLY LIKE AN ASH TRAY. A literal ash tray. The product was wrapped and everything, so I guess these came straight from the Chinese factory? I'm wiping everything down with lysol wipes and keeping the case open just to air out a bit. But the smell is awful and probably toxic.The good news is, that these fit over my glasses. The bad news is, if I sit these normally over my glasses, there's space on the bottom where the IPL light will probably bleed; especially when I do my facial hair. This might be due to how I usually position my glasses low on the face. So what I do is push my glasses closer to my eyes, and then angle these goggles downward. Thankfully, these are tight enough to where they don't need to grip onto the back of my ears. If I angle these goggles downwards so the backs are an inch above my ears, most of that bottom space is covered and my eyes are protected. I'll update when I start using it, but so far I'm iffy. The only good thing so far is that these can go over my glasses. My suggestion is to look elsewhere for other options but this will work in a pinch.
