Read the reviews and comments for best results
First, I'll start with the downside. I took off one star for minor issues I had with the installation. Please note, if any of the following would phase you, please do not attempt installation. Get someone to help you.The included screws would not fit my J-box. The # 8 screws were much too long. The #10 screws were just too big. The screws were also incorrectly identified in the instructions, but that's nitpicking. I had to go to the local store to get some #8x3/4 inch screws which were the shortest on the shelf (I didn't bother searching through the specialty screws drawers). I still had to use washers. Hopefully, you won't encounter this with your J-box, but be ready. Also, one mounting screw from the bracket required washers. By that time, I didn't want to go back so I just used the washers on the exterior. Nothing major, but time consuming. Now let's get to the functioning of the unit itself.Once installed, mine works great. Having read the reviews and comments, I mounted mine upside down to avoid the strobe effect. I've had no such issue having used it a week. Mine doesn't even flicker even when coming on at dusk. It comes on nicely right at dusk and turns off right at daybreak. There's a nut around the stems of the lamps. Once loosened, the lamps can be turned so it doesn't appear upside down. It looks natural. You can also aim the lamps very precisely to your needs. I double checked to ensure the wires inside were still fine.Oh yeah, light. One reason I bought this unit was the 1900 lumens compared to some of the cheaper units. I'm happy I did as there is lots of light for my very large patio. I've been easily reading the newspaper seated at least 8 feet from the fixture. The other lamp is trained on a separate seating area with plenty of light there. I think you should find ample light for your situation which I suspect would be the main factor for a lot of us.Other than the minor snags in installation, my light has been working perfectly for a week now. Thus, I can highly recommend it. I hope this helps you as I rely on the reviews when buying.

Good light, bad sensor
I bought this light wanting a switch controlled flood light for my driveway. I didn't really need the dusk/dawn sensor but figured it wouldn't hurt to have it since I'd only be using the light at night anyway, right? Installation was easy, I especially liked the fact that the gasket had an adhesive side to it so you could stick it to the box or wall and it wouldn't move during installation. Other lights have loose gaskets that tend to shift around and then you don't end up with a good seal around the base of the light. After I had it installed for a little while I noticed that the light was acting erratically. It would come on for a while, then shut off even though it was pitch black outside. The next day I decided that since I didn't need the dusk/dawn part of the light anyways that I'd take it down and bypass the sensor. Upon taking it down I found the problem. When installing the light the wires inside pushed on the sensor housing and cracked it open. As a result some of the wires inside were touching each other and causing the erratic operation. Since I was bypassing the sensor I didn't care about the damage. But it is concerning that it could happen and that those wires were then exposed. Could cause a short, fire, or electrocution hazard. That being said - the lights are very bright and do the job I want.

Nice lights, but difficult to mount
I installed four of these under the overhang on each corner of a building. The mounting bracket is un-impressive. The workboxes I was mounting to were metal single-gang boxes (I was wondering about that, too), and the included bracket didn't have a cut-out that lined up with the holes. The mounting screws in the fixture itself was just slightly off from being able to screw directly to the workbox without needing the bracket. It turned out that mounting the fixture to the included bracket was even more difficult than mounting the ill-fitting bracket to the workbox. Also, some quick-connectors, like other fixtures I have installed recently included, would be an improvement over the wire nuts which were included. In all, it took about 5 hours to install four lights. Half of the time was getting the first one up, which included figuring out that the hoods are not adjustable, which required de-installing and re-positioning the mounting bracket.Since the hoods can't be rotated, you have to position the mounting bracket just right in order of the hoods to end up in the correct position when doing an under-eave mount.

Lots of bright light and easy company to work with.
I ordered 2 of these. 1 quit working a day after i installed it. I contacted the seller for a replacement and they sent a new one very fast. I think i only waited 2 days. Both of them work great and put out a serious amount of light. I also really like the clearness of the light. My old halogens made a yellowish light that I didn't realize looked bad until I installed these. Of course, these really reduced my electric usage. I previously had 2 halogens putting out 600 watts all night long. Now I'm down to 50 watts. Much better. As long as they last me a few years, I'm a happy guy. If you've ever installed an outdoor flood light, then these will install the same. Only difference on the install is they are easier to handle because they are very light weight. Made things a little easier. They come with a universal mounting plate too. So they should fit any box you've got. I only dropped them one star because I had to get a replacement. But as I mentioned, the replacement was fast and easy to get, so no big deal really.
