Easy to use and the adhesive glue is very sticky
Applied over sound deadening material to further deadening and add some insulation. Easy to use and the adhesive glue is very sticky. I used a roller to apply but probably not necessary. Great material, we will see how it insulates in the hot Florida sun.

I used this all wrong, and it turned out so right!
While not the intended purpose of this product, I used this product with great effectiveness as a wrap for wooden ductwork in a recording studio. It did three things. Helped keep the sound of air within the ductwork out of the listening space. It helped keep the sound in the studio from escaping into the rest of the building. It served as an isolation barrier between the ductwork and a one inch layer of O.C. 703, which stopped all bass resonances, effectively turning a nuisance ceiling duct into an incredibly effective bass trap. This product is actually not meant to be stuck to wood, but it adheres to anything...including you...and it won't let go. Not only is the backing not only holding itself tight to the ductwork, since each successive layer or treatment was glued on, it is also supporting the weight of 1" fiberglass panels along with 1" acoustic foam overhead. So if you're worried about this product sticking to metal, DO NOT WORRY about that. Worry about sticking it on wrong to begin with, because it's not coming off intact. Be sure to measure and cut precisely, and place it precisely too. While not marketed for this purpose, I would not hesitate to stick a layer of this to drywall before hanging a second layer of drywall to seriously dampen obnoxious sounds from entering or exiting a recording studio, though I've not tested it in that application.

Good product, big roll
Good product, big roll, good price. is about 3/16 of inch thick, so you can place it just about anywhere. Because it is thin it bends easy and can form around tight corners. I placed a layer over entire inside of door panels, worked great to reduce noise. Was enough to do 4 doors. Had enough left to do door pillars and under front seats.

Great product!
This product when combined with the Noico 80 mil sound dampening made a massive difference in my 2001 F250 diesel! Can't believe how quite it is after I did the doors and back wall of the cab! The 36sqft was the perfect amount for all 4 doors and back wall. Also, this stuff made my door speakers sound 10x better! Cannot recommend it enough!

Good value, easy cut and application
1/6" thickness is an uncommon size but turned out to be just right for my application needs. Nice that NOICO offers sizes between 1/4" and 1/8". Adhesive seems to be holding so far and the peel off backing was easier to remove than some competitor products. Well priced.

Works as advertised
Really does cut down the noise in the cab of our E450 Winnebago motorhome. Installed under floor mats and cowling. Don’t know yet how much heat it will cut down from the engine, but noise level cut tells me the heat will be down as well.

Great product and fast shipping
Ordered my second roll. After the great service and fast shipping I installed the first roll on the roof of my suburban to test it out. Love the difference!! Easy to install and work with. So I ordered another roll for the floor this time and will more than likely order one more and do the doors as well!!!!

Easy to work with
Easy to work with. I am using this as first layer for vibration/sound damping insulation in my 2017 Ford Transit cargo van.

Great product for gasket/isolation in your car
Firstly - this product has virtually *NO* sound-deadening ability. If you want to deaden sound, try either Noico's own butyl sound-deadener or other products like Dynamat. Expecting this product to deaden sound will be disappointing. However, this closed-cell foam *is* perfect as a gasket, to quieten squeaks, rattles and creaks. I applied it to the backside of my SUVs interior plastic panels, and eliminated the plastic creaks and squeaks. I also applied it to the bottom and sides of the metal bracket and cubby for my jack - it stopped the metallic jack-rattles very nicely. For advanced car use: This closed-cell foam is *PERFECT* for applying ~over top~ of sound-deadening butyl, before you apply Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV). MLV needs to be limp, and completely de-coupled from your car structure - this foam will do that nicely.By itself, this closed-cell foam won't silence your car. But it will play crucial roles in stopping panel-rattles and squeaks, or de-coupling a heavy covering which *will* kill airborn noise.

Car audio improved.
So the foam isn't the highest quality but I'm also not rich. All i know is I put some on my front doors (~85% coverage) over the noico 80mil sound mat (~60% coverage) and the sound quality went up. First i did the sound deadening mat. Then I added this stuff a couple weeks later. If I had to describe what I thought was the difference, the butyl rubber tightened up the sound and the foam made it richer. I should say I also made speaker rings with foam insulation from homedepot which probably helped too. Model # CF52942 cut it in half lengthwise for two strips. Also helps with insulation.

Just o.k..
I used it as sound dampening on a SXS ATV. Sticks well, sound dampening is moderate. Until you open the box, you don’t know that it is not recommended for anything but dry, interior projects.

Really good lightweight sound deadener
Really good lightweight sound deadener. Works really well to stop sounds when my sub is turned on, doesn't quiet road noise very much.
