So far I am very happy with the product but I'm sure I could never ...
I bought a new 2017 Mazda CX-5 It is parked in our garage but for some reason my large cat that sleeps in the garage loves to sleep on top of my vehicle. With my previous 18 year old SUV I would find an occasional dried hair ball sticking to the roof. Also my cat has very sharp claws and put a few scratches in the paint or I would find muddy paw prints down the wind shield. This cover is not as thick as I thought it would be but would probably be hard to handle if it was thicker or heavier. I have been able to get it off and on myself but it is much easier with two people. It fits perfectly. It says in the ad that it would fit the larger X -9 but I'm sure that would literally be a stretch. I have had it for about two weeks and so far it has kept my car clean and knock on wood - no scratches. One note however the instructions say not to put it on a wet vehicle, which makes sense. So far I am very happy with the product but I'm sure I could never get it back in the bag it came in.

Great Value
I’ve had $400.00 covers that didn’t fit as well, weren’t as easy to put on and take off (the license plate strap is ingenious), and weren’t waterproof like this one. I was lucky enough that the cover was almost an exact fit for my car. I would have given it 5 stars but one of the Velcro straps came off after the first use. Other than that this is truly a great car cover.

Great, if you'll use it...
So, for what it is it's great, and works very well. The little clips hold it in place very well even in fairly high wind. And the fabric it's made of seems very durable. The only downside is, it's a bit too much of a pain to put on for regular use. It takes about 10 minutes for a single person to put it on, and even with a friend takes at least 3-5, so if you do start out using it regularly you probably will give it up before long, and most of us just will not take the time to use it regularly, and will forget to put it on in the few times when it might actually do some good... Frankly mine spends virtually 100% of the time just taking up space in my trunk, and if I'd have realized that I probably wouldn't have bought it.

This is a good cover
I just bought 2 SUV covers, as I have no garage. I bought this one for the Ford Escape, and another brand, twice the price for the BMW X5 (I'm returning). THIS product is totally decent. Easy to see labels for FRONT and BACK. The ant theft cable is made correctly, one end big to stay in the hole on one side, the other small to throw under car, thread, and lock. Only makes sense you say? Well, the other expensive car cover has the same damn ends. No way to lock. THIS cover also has thoughtful velcro pockets that cover the lock holes. It's a no nonsense, makes sense cover, and working very well for me. The quality of protection is fine. You don't need a "FIVE LAYER" cover. I'm glad I got another more expensive cover to compare this one to. I'm returning the expensive cover and will replace with this brand. Hope this helps.

Worth the extra money for sub zero temps
Not being able to garage my Jeep Patriot during Chicago's extreme deep freeze last week...I quickly bought this to try to help protect my car some.I loved how I could still remote start it without worrying out CO2 exhausts getting into the car. With the prolonged subzero temps..there were a couple times the remote started didnt work...but when i used the key...not only did it start, but my car didnt feel as freezing inside. While not a replacement for a garage...I'd definitely recommend if you have to leave your car out.Side note... its easier to unfold and put on car then fold back up to put in bag.

Too much work if you like being lazy!
Sometimes it’s 11pm and you just want to get in the car, go to Safeway and get your ice cream. It’s hard to do that when the car cover is a part of the picture.I found myself not driving my car for over a week because I didn’t want to remove the thing and potentially deal with a spider crawling out fromUnder it.. and onto me... and then having to put it back on.Who has time and energy for that?Nevertheless, it does the job. I don’t use the little lock strap that comes with it, but it kept my car clean and didn’t scratch it.It’s also too big for the bag it comes in, so I have to keep it in a ball in the back of my car which I do not enjoy. This is mainly a personal preference thing.

company does not honor warranty
I purchased this cover in March 2018 so that we may leave our vehicle in Florida for 6 months. When we returned in October 2019, the cover was all ripped on one side and could not be used again. This cover was advertised with a 3 year warranty. I have written to KAKIT twice but have received no response. I would never purchase anything from this company as they do not honor the warranty and would not contact me.

Using it for hail protection
It works great so far. Its a little tight though. Almost didnt fit around my Dodge Journey, even though the measurements were suppose to be a little over the actually vehicle size. Also, one of the magic tape straps was not sewn on. Easy fix for me. The frustrating part was the fit veing tight, cutting an antenna hole and trying to put it on in the wind lol! It wasnt as thick as I imagined it to be. A pita to dry out too. Needs lots of room. Im using this cover in tandem with pool floaty beds to keep the hail from causing too much damage to my car. Fyi.
