This is my favorite fragrance. I was extremely jazzed to see this in lotion form. Smells great, just like the perfume does so allows me to layer for and even longer lasting fragrance.

Love this smell and I get a lot of compliments

Definitely a lotion and not a heavy cream, this lotion is medium range--neither thin nor thick--and absorbs well into the skin without too much rubbing, which makes it a nice lotion to quickly use while getting dressed or ready to go out. It also has a lovely scent, not too strong, but quite nice and very natural smelling. I did not pick up on the sandalwood scent mentioned on its Amazon page, but the scent is nonetheless rather outdoorsy/fresh. While mild, the scent does tend to linger--but pleasantly so. I think the scent would work on male or female.This has mostly very good ingredients in general and is cruelty-free, which I require in any product I buy or use. Made without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. However, the third listed ingredient is perfume, and that was a bit off-putting. Shouldn't a dry skin lotion have more...well skin moisturizers as the main ingredients? And, in addition, this contains Butylphenyl Methylpropional. As I did not know what that was, I googled and found out it is a synthetic fragrance which can be irritating to the skin and of which a google search indicates might have safety issues. That led me to google another ingredient I did not know--Benzyl Benzoate, which turns out to be used as a bug repellant. Those 2 ingredients kind of made me wonder, you know? I don't know enough about either of those ingredients to dock a point in the ranking, but it did really make me wonder about that "natural" claim.It seemed a bit overpriced to me and it came in a cotton or linen cloth drawstring bag, which had to add to the cost. I couldn't help but wonder if dropping the bag--which served no real purpose--and then being able to also drop the price too would not have made more sense. So, yes, eliminate the bag and drop the cost a bit!All in all, a nice, soothing lotion that felt (and smelled) good on my skin. No irritation from using it, though I am not using it on my face. It would have been a 5 star but for the price and the rather wasted cotton bag.

I use this as a lotion on my chest and arms. I use this instead of perfume.

This lotion comes in a metal bottle with a pump. It's packaged in a canvas bag, appropriate for gift giving presentation, because I don't really know anybody who would save the bag to store the lotion. A nice touch, but not really necessary. The lotion itself is lightweight and quick absorbing. If feels nice on my skin, and doesn't leave any sticky residue. It has a scent that is hard to describe, but not flowery or too feminine. I would say this lotion is just okay, and nothing about it makes it stand out that much to me. I can't say that I would reorder it, but it's not too awful that I would tell others not to.

I was expecting a more quality lotion and with more smell. It’s pretty dull and lotion feels cheap when you apply it.

They say your skin is your largest organ, so you should take care of it. Especially when the weather changes like it is now. I use body lotion in both morning and evening. After using this lotion, my skin feels noticeably soft. One pump is enough for each arm. It's fast absorbing once you have it rubbed in so the whiteness disappears. Regarding the smell, I like it. To me it smells like plants. That's the best thing I can describe it with. I know scent is subjective and what I like you may not. I have been using it in conjunction with my Derek Lam 10 Crosby perfume and I have been pleased with the results. Overall, I really like this lotion.
