They are durable and tough. They with stand ware and tear real well, but they never feel tight. It at first felt kind of like I was tying together weed eater twine and not boot laces. They break in, but they still feel way different than normal boot laces.

Very strong laces, maybe add a little bit of wax on the laces. The material seems to be rough and doesn't like to slip in the eyes. But it beats having to replace your boot laces quarterly. Well worth the money.

Laces are a little thin but rigid. My original laces always slipped and became untied. These have not come undone once yet.

They are indestructible but color rubs off in normal use.

Boot lace was excellent and durable. Wouldn't buy any other.

These paces are durable and a bit gritty so they don’t slip out of knots and are easy to pull tight.

Ordered these laces for my work boots, the laces are very thin and I don’t think that they will last very long.😠

I bought these laces for my everyday boots, which I like to wear tight and have gone through and few laces. However, these laces are hard plastic and act like a string saw on the leather (digging and cutting into the leather). So whilst I appreciate the strength of this boot string, i would recommend it only on hiking/working boots which can deal with sharp lace.

They are undoubtedly strong and the metal D loops on my boots, which destroy standard laces seem to have no effect on these! Downside is they are relatively thin and a bit harsh on the fingers when pulling them tight! They may get more flexible with use. Still better than cloth laces which seem to bust at the most awkward times.

They seem to be very heavy duty (and should be at that price) and are performing as expected. Mind you, a spring walk in the woods is not very taxing. Really bought them as an insurance policy - nothing worse than a broken lace when you're not expecting it.

Have waited to write a review … having used these laces for about 4 months I can honestly say they are awesome and no double knot required on hard working boots they are the best laces I have ever tied … if you are fed up with buying expensive boots for work and being let down by poor laces then buy these and you will be sorted 👍
